A Sketchy Future
This is a great title. Maybe I'll use it for a short story if I can ever figure out what to write about for it... My post is named this, because thats exactly what I'm looking forward to. My own sketchy future, just me and my new sketchbook... Oh, yeah, I probably should have mentioned the sketchbook I got yesterday. I'll be drawing in that in the future, so thats why my future is so sketchy. Now, I just don't put my name in a sketchbook. No, sir! I put my name and a sketch of myself on the first page. I'll just use it as a reference to see how much I've improved every time I open it. I'd share the drawing if I thought it really looked more like me (don't get me misunderstood - I'm well past the stick figure stage - although I can draw some really cool stick figures).
School - Graduation - Homework - Labs - Work
How much does school suck? You can learn just as much by being taught as you can learn from books, yet you have to do hours of meaningless tasks to prove that you know the material. I can't sit at home and do math, or physics, or anything I don't really enjoy. I can't just sit and "learn" with my hands something so simple looking that it looks like child's play. I sure miss Phys 1; dropping stuff - throwing stuff - rolling stuff; it was way better than studying something that moves so fast and has so little mass that it can only bounce off of something with no noticeable effect until it goes into your eye. Light is dangerous, and so is electricity, but neither of them are necessarily metals that glow in the dark and run submarines underwater for months at a time as well as causing massive meltdowns that create havoc and deformity among nearby lifeforms. Too bad there aren't any nuclear physics labs in my class... Then again, its a good thing...
Story
No story today, it will have to wait for next week, so I can add some new characters. Maybe just one... maybe more... You'll find out.
Questions:
1) Why am I asking you questions?
2) Why did I add another when I clearly couldn't think of another?
3) What's with all the questions?
Seriously, I don't need the answers... I'm just terribly bored.
until tomorrow (unless something unexpected and unusual happens, and it very well could.)
