Fist Full of Fingers
Yep, five of 'em. That is five volumes of MegaTokyo. I was visited by my grandmother and great-aunt on Saturday. I got a $50 from my Aunt Mary and almost immediately went to Barnes & Nobel to get volumes 3&5. I can almost no longer wait for volume six... Too bad the story for it (chapter 9) isn't even finished yet. I won't mob him, but if Fred Gallagher is at A-kon, I'll have to get the series signed.

Drawing

Friday night was pretty cool, I play 'Magic: The Gathering' and I wasn't doing too well. I dropped out of the tournament and forced people to give me ideas of things to draw (requests, if you will). One guy mentioned Ninja Penguins, I happily obliged:

Another guy said Spiderman, good thing I had a reference image or twelve right in my face at this comic book store, or the costume would have been terribly wrong:

I think this is the first time I've ever drawn a known superhero. Another one I'd have to dig out is Apathy Guy. There's not much story to go with him... Goth superheroes that aren't Batman are so lame. Then again, Batman in the early days was not Goth at all... Ah well, there's not enough time to reveal all that I know and don't know about the world of comic book superheroes, and there's not enough creativity in me right now to do anything else in this post. You can definitely look forward to reading my next part of Ninja Kai this week (now I just have to write it...).

Questions:

1) Do you speak any languages other than English?
2) Have you been to any countries where that is the language spoken?
3) What type of computer do you use?

Answers from me:

1) I can speak Spanish, and I'm currently teaching myself Leet. I've got a Japanese text book that I taught myself from awhile back, and I have some basic knowledge of it.

2) Sadly, I've never been to a country that has a specific spoken language (USA hasn't chosen one, and I've never left... I sure hope they go with English or leet if they do choose a language), and the people who speak Leet haven't been forced to live in a penal colony yet, therefore, no countries that sp33k 1337 317h3r.

3) I use a DELL. The one provided to me by the school I work at. I had an eMachine at home, but it committed suicide... I posted a picture of my EmoMachine before...

Fare well compatriots and have yourself a wonderful day!
