When we are younger. The adults fabricate lies to protect us from the truth. But as we grow older the truth begins to shine through the rose colored shades we've been using and we start to see the world for what it really is. Even now, just about everyone lives in there own version of reality. I'm trying to seperate myself from that compulsion. It's not all about us, any of us. We are just ants in a farm. Trotting along, selfishly doing what makes us happy as if our happiness is the most important thing. We need to see beyond ourselves, to achieve true happiness. None of us matter in the grand scheme of things. And unfortunately few us can see beyond our own problems. And unfortunately all we can do worry about is ourselves and others. We have no say in what happens to the universe, or world or even our own neighborhoods. All these lives are so insignificant, yet there are people who care for us and even a God who cares. We must keep a balanced view.
