For all who died in EHS
For Micheal Bowen and all the others who passed

If I hold my breath
It isn't going to bring you back
but it may ease the pain for just a moment
Perhaps if I sleep a while, I will see you there
See you untouched by tragedy
so young, too young
this shouldn't have happened to you
But life holds it's breath for no one
and death tends to steal it

I hope your last breath wasn't pain
I hope that you didn't suffer
I hope that you saw a light and were swept away
Swept away from destruction
and devastation
that you shed no tears
that you left with a smile
with a feeling of fulfillment
I hope that you my friend regretted nothing
That you felt your life was full
because I know that we all know it was

You held your breath for no one
Though I am a few gently took it away
Your voice brought smiles to many faces
And you shall always be fondly remembered
You were dear to many
Many more so than to I
But you left your mark
A mark that burns brighter in Death.

Rest in peace dear friend, you shall be missed.
