Rice Crackers
Yesterday, as planned, I took my rice crackers to school. The two girls a sit with, De'Neil and Tamara, wanted to try some. Tamara, from Tennesse, took a small bite and did not like them. De'Neil, originally from Jamaica, took a small bite and could not get enough! She then told me she had a Japanese friend, when she also lived in Tennesse, and her family made a lot of traditional Japanese food. She said she did not like sushi though. I told her that was because she is a loser. We joked around about it the rest of the day, especially her scream when she gets scared. Earlier that day, I poked her in the back, accidently frightening her. She let out a dull, "ahh." It was so funny. Aimee, a girl in most of my classes, thought it was funny too. You just have to love De'Neil, because De'Neil ryhmes with oatmeal!

Yesterday I also called De'Neil for the first time. She was not home yet though because she walks home from school. I would have called her back, but because of marching band, I never had time.

I heard from my sister, Ashley. She is doing pretty good. I am pretty suprised about her.

I did call Amber though because I needed to check the date of Crestline Homecoming. She wrote January 8, 2005 as the day the dance was held. She does not know why that happened, but it did. So, now I cna get it signed by the principal, Mr. Nickoli. I will probably have him sign it for me during lunch, since that is the only period I have free. Dustin, Amber, and Marissa helped me pick out the dark red dress I will be wearing for the dance.

Erin, Kristen, and Monica are all trying to talk me into going into Mansfield Homecoming. I am playing in the homecoming game, is that not good enough? AJ, one of the flutes, is being kind of bitchy, but she is still trying to talk me into it. I think I might go, but I'm not really sure yet. Should I?

I found out that not all the flutes hate me. It was just they thought I was ignoring them the first couple of days. Really, I was just confused and dazed with all the new things going on. I apologized, and everything is pretty good now. Well, except for the fact the one girl, AJ, is always bitchy to me for some reason. But the girl sitting beside me, Erin, have become pretty good friends.

Oh, I about forgot to mention, I am not playing flute for this show. I get to play cymbals. One of the cymbals are in ALS, so the band was short one. That's were I come into the mixed up picture. They are pretty interesting, since I have only really played woodwinds in my life. I am having trouble flipping them. I never knew how much you could do with them. I have a new apperciation for them now! Anyways, I have been paired up with the only girl on the drumline, Tara. She is really short, but is very kind. I have already seen the somewhat serious side of her. I feel sorry for her though, she has to deal with twelve boys on the team. All that testostoron. It's crazy. I can see why they paired the two girls together.

Tara, the only girl, showed me off like a trophy she won. She said, "Hey *whom ever she was showing me off too*! I am not the only girl on the drumline anymore! This is Kelsey. She use to play flute, but now she's my bitch...." Then she would go onto what ever conversation. I'm her bitch. That's right. She pretty much owns me for marching band season. I hold the cymbals for her during games. Thank god I'm not playing cymbals for Will, the boy I sit next to in science, or I would go crazy.

In science, we finally got to learn how to use bunson burners. I was so excited to get to play with fire in school, and be allowed to. Then, I got Will as a partner. He would not even let me go close to it. He just played in it. Then he said I was being mean. Hello? Ms. Pyro wanted to play with fire and you would not let her. That pisses her off. Oh well, seventh period today, we get to melt ice!

My mom dropped off my cell phone battery charger, contact case, and glasses that I left at her house. I am so glad I have my charger , because now I do not have to be paranoid about the battery going dead on it. Fpr the past three days, my phone was off all time, except when I had to make a phone call.

Oh, thinking of my phone, I need to buy some minutes. I only have fourteen dollars left on it (which equals about fourteen hours or about thirteen days and some minutes, which ever goes faster). But since I use my phone alot, those fourteen hours will got quicky.

Well, I better go and finish getting ready for school!

Wuv, maybe,

Kelsey
