Part three of my story. Once again it starts right were we left off.
Rose and I got worried fast. What could have happened to him? Was he dead? Or was he alive? Was he trying to scare us? Did he even know we were here? Those are some of the questions we asked our selves.
“He was over by the paopu fruit tree getting something, that’s all I remember,” said Selphie, trying to help.
“The paopu tree!” Rose and I said together.
We ran to the tree as fast as we could. When we got to the tree we scanned around it, but we couldn’t find anything. Then, we saw him. We ran as fast as we could to get to him, but it didn’t seem fast enough. When we saw his cold, lifeless body, we burst into tears.
“Sora,” Rose said sobbing, “Don’t be dead.”
I was crying so much, I couldn’t say anything
We cried for hours on end. I thought we were going to run out of tears we were crying so much!
“Sora, I……. I……” I said trying to talk. Then I felt the hand I was holding tighten on my hand. I gasped. I looked at Sora’s face. I could barely see anything. I had been crying so much that all that I could see was a blur of colors. I rubbed my eyes with my hand. I could see better after that.
“S- Sora?” I said smiling through tears.
Rose had felt the hand tighten too. She looked at me. We were both smiling.
“Rose? Kylie? What happened?” asked Sora.
“We don’t know. We just arrived at the island and saw Selphie’s unconscious body and she said that she, Riku and you were here. She said you came up here,” said Rose.
“So, of course this is the first place we looked,” I said finishing Rose’s sentence, “We were so worried! Do you remember if Riku came up here?”
“Yeah, he did. He said something, but I couldn’t catch it.”
All of a sudden we heard thunder and I felt raindrops on my head.
“We’d better get into the tree house. There’s no chance of us getting home in a storm. I’ll call my mom and tell her,” I said, pulling out my cell phone.
I dialed the number and I didn’t get a ring tone or anything. One of the service lines must be busted I thought.
“There’s no service,” I told the others, “I guess we can sleep in the tree house. We have some extra blankets, sleeping bags and pillows in the shack. I’ll see if Selphie can get them. Rose, can you help Sora to the tree house?
“Yeah,” replied Rose.
“Thanks. I wonder if Riku is still here. I’ll go look.”
I set off looking for Riku. I looked just about every where, the tree house, the shack, the paopu fruit tree, I couldn’t find him. Then I thought of the cave. That’s probably where he is, I thought. I walked into the cave as soon as it started raining harder.
“Riku!?” I yelled. My voice bounced off the walls of the cave. “Riku, are you in here!?”
“I’m over here,” I heard a voice say. It made me jump. “Come here.”
“Umm, Okay,” I walked over to where I heard the voice. I left wet footprints were I stepped. I looked for Riku, but I didn’t see him.
“Hello,” said a voice from behind me. I jumped. I turned around and saw Riku inches from me.
