Ok Im going to talk about one thing, and one thing only! Lets talk about this stupid letter that some stupid person sent to the president to ban anime.....

Anyway...There are so many things wrong in this letter. First off, since when was Japan dark and evil? Arent we allies with them or something? Didnt the president like just visit there a couple of months ago, so tell me...why would the president be allowed to go to a "dark and evil" country? Answer me that! Apparently this person does not want to let go of the war we had with them....
This person also talks about how anime is "corrupting our minds" You want to talk corrupting?! What about all this porn teens are looking at this very instant? What about illegally downloading files? All this sinful stuff is going on on the computer and this person is complaining about anime.....yeah....
This person also list 2 animes that they find to be wrong. 2!!! Do you know how many animes there are? Thousands! 2 out of a couple thousand!!!!!!!!! I personally do not watch these two animes, but so what?! There are a bunch of R rated movies , but you dont see some teen getting arrested for watching one, do you? I didnt think so.
I wish this person could read this.....cause she/he got into a huge mess pulling the christian thing. Look! Im a christian too! I know there is stuff out there that im not supposed to see!!!!!!!! But what this person didnt mention is that there are also christian animes!!!!! Oh i guess they just "missed" that, yeah right.....
What really surprised me was this sentence, "Anyone who is found in possesion of anime should be arrested and jailed for an exhorbant period of time." I was like, "What!"
Isnt that a little harsh...so if this thing went through and i was walking down the street with a manga book, i would be arrested.......Cops just give tickets to people who almost kill everyone in the car and near them on the road for driving too fast, and they are going to arrest someone for reading and watching anime!!!!!!!! That is seriously hard to believe.
One more thing, when this person describes Ah! My Goddess, she says this, "A sick and disgusting show which causes children under the age of 18 to think they are capable of love. The main female character is clearly under 18, and is forced into a romantic relationship by an older man who "wishes" for her to be his girlfriend forever. He even KISSES her, and she appears NAKED. That poor girl must be so confused." Okay, how many of you have seen a movie or read a regular book that had someone kissing someone? *everyone raises their hands* Okay what about having at least a little nudity in it? *everyone raises hands again* thought so....my point made....
You know what? I should be on the debate team! Wait! Does my school even have a debate team? Ah well. See ya!
