Hey everyone! Sorry I haven’t been on. I have been in good ol’ Texas and I didn’t have my laptop so I was not able to get on. Sorry. Speaking of Texas, the reason I was there was because of a church retreat called Winterfest. Any Christians here that have heard of it? Well anyway it was tons of fun. The only part I really didn’t like was the long ride there and back. Well there wasn’t that long because we stopped in Arkansas to sleep.
Every time I go to a retreat, we always sing a song after the last sermon (which I usually the best one) and during this song, almost everyone is always crying (including myself of course). I really don’t understand why it’s always the last song that everybody gets really emotional with. I mean, is it because we know we are fixing to have to go back to our normal, difficult lives? The what I think it is. If you have ever been to a church retreat and you are a Christian, then you know what I mean when I say that when you are at a retreat it is a lot easier to feel God and to know he is there. Do you understand? That is why I think most people don’t ever want to leave. It’s completely reasonable too. I mean, if I had to choose to live near or far from the sins I easily commit, then I would definitely choose to live far away from that. Or if I had to choose between being somewhere where it is easy to commit those sins or a place where it’s harder to, then the same goes for that.
Besides Winterfest, nothing else has really been going on. Both my parents birthdays were this month, if that means anything to you. I doubt it does. Do any of your parents have a birthday right after Christmas? Well, if you don't let me just tell you, it is really tough. I don't get enough money to where I can go and buy them both Christmas presents and THEN buy them b-day presents right after that. Maybe when I'm a bit older I can handle that but not right now. Yeah, I probably need to get a job anyway, but it's hard finding someone who will hire a fifteen year old.....*sigh* oh well, I only have a half of a year before I turn 16, so thats not so bad.
Ok I am going to stop boring you and go ahead and get some sleep. If you reading this tonight, i suggest you do the same. Why? I really dont know why I am suggesting it. Maybe it's because I am so tired.......isn't funny how I just answer my questions automatically (spelling)? Anyway, Ill see you all around, bye!
