...I'm baaaaaaaack!!!!!!!!

and it feels great to be back!! i couldnt post yesterday(when i really returned) because of jetlag. Ireland is five hours ahead of us, so it was kinda weird adjusting to the time, but it didnt take me long, unlike the rest of my family.

one thing that kinda almost wrecked my trip-i had this pretty bad cough before i left. it wasnt anything serious, just a cough. but once i arrived, it developed into one helluva bad cold, which i still have!!! and the cough...is much, much worse.

here's how the trip worked-for the first week, i was in Belfast, N. Ireland. then, from August 27 to 30, i went to London. one the 30th, i went back to belfast, and came back yesterday. because i had that cold, the flight to and from London was a BITCH! The pressure on my head was fuckin terrible!!! i felt like my head was gonna freakin burst! not only that, but my hearing went crazy too! i had almost none in my left ear for a whole day when i left London. when i came back home, my right ear gave out on me! it didnt heal 'til this morning!! and i still feel terrible from that cold.

the only thing that comforts me is knowing that i was still able to have fun on my trip! of course, London was the best part of the trip, cuz there's just so much to see there! I went on this bus tour that took us all throughout London and Westminster, and i also went on the London Eye, witch is this HUGE ferris wheel that gives you a spectacular view of the whole city!! as we walked around London. i also visited a few places of my own interest...

Anime in the U.K.
yes, they have anime in Ireland. and no, Naruto doesnt speak Irish. its the same English dub we got, but i noticed something about it. and here it is-its more censored over there! im not kidding!! remember the episode of Naruto with the bell test? well, remember the part where Sakura thought she saw Sasuke all cut up and covered in kunai and shuriken? Here, they show his body, but there, they dont! they edit out all the good, violent stuff!!

Here, in the states, Toonami and Jetix are action blocks for Cartoon Network and ABC Family, respectively. over there, Toonami and Jetix are channels. Jetix shows Naruto and Shaman King, while Toonami shows One Piece, Pokemon, and some others. Adult Swim is on Bravo, not Cartoon Network. CN shows NO ANIME AT ALL!! WTF!

Yu-Gi-Oh and, starting today, Yu-Gi-Oh GX are shown on Nicktoons Network. Also starting today, Ben 10 and My Gym Partner's a Monkey premier on CN, and new One Piece episodes premiere on Toonami. Toonami also shows Megas XLR, which was cancelled here, but is now showing on ToonamiJetstream.com, along with Samurai Jack, which also still airs over there in Ireland. ...i miss Megas, that show was funny. but Jetstream doesnt work on my comp. that sucks.

Things i could've done here, but did there instead
On my vacation, i saw 5 movies. yes, 5 movies. 3 of which were on demand at my parents' friend's house, where we were staying at in Belfast, and two at the movies. the movies i saw were, in order,

1)Fun with Dick and Jane(On Demand)
2)Aeon Flux(OD)
3)Steamboy[HELLZ YEAH!!!!](OD)
4)Snakes on a Plane[AWESOME!!!!](theater)
5)John Tucker Must Die(theater)

1)Dick & Jane was hilarious!! Jim Carrey, i mean, he just rocks! hes so funny, in any of his movies!! and this one was great!! 4.5 out of 5!!

2)Aeon Flux, not too bad, but that means its not too good either. the story was intriguing, but a little too simple for an Assassin's creed. But i hafta give it props, cuz it followed the show pretty well! 2.5 out of 5

3)I have been wanting to Steamboy since it came out a good long while ago, and i finally did!!! i just loved it!!! Katsuhiro Otomo(although i hadnt heard of him b4) did an excellent job!! it entertained me the whole time!! 5 out of 5!!!

4)That's it!! I have had it with these muthafuckin' snakes on this muthafuckin' plane!!!"

But i havent had it with that movie!!!!! it fuckin owned!!! Sam Jackson was awesome!!! and i cant believe that Kenan Thompson was in it too!!
"Best worst movie of 2006" my ass!!! it rocked!! and it was scary too!!! 5 out of 5 definitely!!!

5)I guess because i'm a high school student, thats why i was able to enjoy the movie better, cuz i could relate to it, ya know? but lots of laugh out loud moments, all kinds of humor, and one helluva good plan to kill Tucker's rep! 4.5 out of 5!
