Haunting Past and a New Start - part #46
Alright everyone - so first of all I wold like to say that chances are this will be the last post for this week as I am going away on vacaition with my mom to the tomson resort where we will go white rapids river raffting (say that 5 times fast) - looking forwards to it but sadly they do not have computers there... T.T oh well. Another thing I would like to mention is that I am very dissapointed with the lack of coments even though I have still been getting around to as many of you as possible only one person actualy seponded to the post beffore this one - and it was up all day and all weekend! Now normaly I would not post the next part untill a few more people left thier mark on it but seeing has I will be away for so long - this post is still going up. and the last thing beffore we start the story - I would like to thank the one person who did comment on the last one - thank you lordsesshuomaru! - now on to the story - enjoy!

---------------Start of Story------------------
Chikane yawned widly and sat up in her bed, she lookked around the small room - it was cozy. Chikane got out of the bed and lazily walked down the hall to the kitchen only half awake, she opened the cooler and much toher suprise found it was already set with food. She browsed though it and picked out a piticulairly red apple.

Chikane: I wonder how long I've been asleep for.

Chikane looked up and out the window to see that day-light had returned and the brutal winter storm had stoped. Chikane bit ravenously into her apple. The distinct sound of children playing in the fresh snow driffted though the window making her smile.

Chikane thinking: mabye I should explore my new home somewhat and get to know some of the villagers.

After Chikane had finished her apple she put on some warmer cloths and went out-side. Looking around she saw that several sow-men sat not to far away from her house, this made her smile again - although this village had a somewhat darker feel about it, there was no shortage of life and wonder.

Chikane thinking: yha, I think I can live here.

Chikane walked out into the village, most where inside thier houses - but she did see a big shaggy dog walk into a big ti-pi looking tent in the middle of the village. She spotted the trees on the edge of the small village and begain walking towards them, the forest was dark, ominus and uninviting, as if walking in was the last thing you wold ever do. She finialy got close to it, and a crule shiver ran down her spine. A man wering a dark green and yellow jump-siut walked up silently behind Chikane.

Nagrira: hello young miss - I do not belive we have met, you know it's not safe being quite so close to that forest. :)

Chikane jumped slightly not having heard her stelthy geusst.

Chikane thinking: I didn't even hear him come up behind me...strange normaly my ears are too sensitive.

Chikane: Hello, not I do not bellive we have met either. You are very light on your feet.

Nagira smiled at Chikane, she then notced what he was wearing.

Chikane: that is a very umm...unique outfit you have on there.

Nagira: oh thank you!!! ^_^ - I made it my-self you know ^.~ Oh! by the way I am Nagira! ^_^ - at your scervice.

Chikane: I am Chikane.

Nagira: it is a pleasrue to make your aquaintance Chikane! ^_^ * big smile*

Chikane: uhh...you to? *not quite sure about this one and thinks he's got a few screws losse*

Nagira: so what is your job in the village Chikane? ^_^

Chikane: I am a medic, what are you?

Nagira: I belive that I am hungry, but for work I am one of this village's gaurds. ^_^ - soeaking of wich I should probly get back to it - but please do stay away from that forest, nasty things happen in there. ^_^ *smiles* till we meet again!

Nagira then dissapread in a puff of black smoke as silently as he first came.

Chikane thinking: they certenly do have some real character here... ^^;
