Haunting Past and a New Start - part #50 (OM! this is getting long!)
Chikane continued trudging though the snow, still steaming from her interactions with the Infuriating Ashaka.

Chikane thinking: oh how I HATE her, iv'e never met anyone so anoying!

---------------------to Hyute----------------

Hyute bent over and plucked a plant from the cold ground, she knew exactly what type it was even being blind. Hyute had a conection with the very flow of life and death, with the spirit and energy of everything and there for did not need here eyes to "see". She continued to pick madicinal herbs for the next while untill her bascket was full.

Hyute thinking: time to go back...but I wonder what Unasi needed these for?

------back to Chikane--------------

Some time had passed and Chikane had succesfully coold her head down, not having encountered any other villagers.

Chikane thinking: ah - that was just what I needed a nice long walk though the snow. =3

Chikane gazed up at the clouds, they where soft and fluffy like big giant pillows, it looked like you could jump onto one and just blissfuly float away. Lost in her moment of peace Chikane was not watching where she was going and ran into someone, toppiling them both over.

Chikane: ak!

A slight pain ensued in Chikane's behind, she looked to see who she had run into and saw a strange girl with long jet black hair in a green kimono. She wore a encypted blind fold, her basket of herbs lay toppled on the ground.

Chikane: I'm so sorry! are you alright? here let me help you.

Hyute: it's alright, I'll get it.

Hyute begain to gather her herbs back up with the help of Chikane. In no time at all they had all the herbs re-collected and they stood up.

Hyute: thank you.

Chikane: no problem, but wha's with the blind fold?

Hyute: I am blind, and aparently rather clumsy! ^_^ hehehe.

Despite her smiling face and hight-hearted words, Chikane could scense a deep sadness, tears that could not be seen. Chikane also noticed somthing rather odd, this girl had no life force, no heart beat.

Chikane: I don't bellive we've met, I am Chikane.

Hyute: nice to meet you Chikane, I am known as Hyute here, the Varsel's housekeeper.

Chikane thinking: ! Hyute, so I finialy get to meet the sepoused "scorce" or Fertonon's infuriaiting paranoia...but it would seem as if not all of it is mis-placed.

Chikane: I did no know the Varsel's used the dead to do thier work.

Chikane felt Hyute's emotions shift dramticaly within a fraction of a second at these words, she was scared and serious now.

Hyute: perseptive, not many can figure that out.

Hyute thinking: a bit too perseptive, if I am not carefull this could get real ugly, real fast.
