My poems
I WALK THROUGH THE BIG BLUE DOORS...
and i take my seat with the rest of the group...
WE LOOK OVER THE MUSIC...CAREFUL NOT TO MISS A THING...
it's our first rehersal together...i'd have to say we sound awful...
REHEARSAL TWO...WE STILL DON'T SOUND VERY GOOD...
but it's getting better...
IT'S TWO WEEKS BEFORE OPENING NIGHT...
can we do this? maybe we should just stop now...
NO!!!
i will not quit...even if it means playing alone...
IT'S A WEEK BEFORE THE BIG NIGHT...
we sound together now...better tone...faster tempo...
I THINK WE'RE READY...
it's the big night...we get some last minute playing in before curtain...
THE CURTAIN OPENS AND THEY ARE BLOWN AWAY WIHT DRAMA, SORROW, LAUGHS...AND OF COURSE OUR WONDERFUL MUSIC TO GO RIGHT ALONG WITH IT...
our hard work has finally payed off...
WE'RE MUSICIANS...IT'S WHAT WE DO...
