Katamari of chaos comming through (Don't get stuck on it!)
About what I was referring to in the post before the last one, I figure not to even maybe go into detail until next week, when things are answered and things are more settled.
*half grins* I really do feel like a katamari that picks up chaos and other related type stuffs. Comments (0) |

In time, everything won't make sense
And then all would be good.
I finally arived to San Antonio almost 2 am Friday morning. I was supposed to arrive Thursday night, and obviously that didnt happen as planned.
I'm prolly going to post pictures of the trip going and coming and everything in between, but not right now. Maybe later tonight or tomorrow.
As for how it went... not to be melodramatic, but many things that could go wrong did. The stuff with the lawyer fell through; all the trouble was for naught. I was not able to get my car in my name, even with all the money I paid and the heavy hassle imposed, all because my mother lost my birth certificate. No one knows where one of the three boxes that I packed are, and the one in question is the one containing my crucial tax papers.
As for the rest... I.. still cant talk about it. I cant talk about it to much of anyone just of yet. Just thinking about it, my throat swells up and it's just so... hard.
I'm in a lot of hurt. I'm gonna go.
Rest assured, I will be alright. Just not right now, but I will be sometime or other. Comments (4) |

Happy pi day.

I say sexy things to myself whenever I dance.
I liked the end effect, even though I was trying for a clearer shot.
Molly ^_^
Duo and Someguy! =D
The island on the lake that is practically right outside my window.
Funny enough, the school I go to is called Our Lady of the Lake, and whoa look over there, there is a lake right next to it called Lake Elmendorf! Man, the name is one of the best parts about it, besides the little island. It's illegal to go in the water, but that's ok cause after seeing all the stuff sludging and mucking around on the coast and the shallow parts there, you wouldn’t wanna go in the water whether there was a law for or against it.
That was the second place we went fishing. I could almost promise you that the piere went out into the ocean for about 1/4 to 1/2 a mile, and that's scary if you thought about it too much while all the way out there. Or if you stared down at the waves. Man, we were out so far we were just about where the waves started to form and build up, to travel to the beach. Honestly, the last picture I put up of there is of the coast, and I wasnt even at the most furtherest point of the piere.
*sighs* Wow. Just... wow.
The river walk downtown.
Oyeh. That pretty much concludes the random picture montage.
I'm leaving later tonight, and I wont be back for well over a week.
No use for a mercy shot.
Just... got... done... with.. three huge midterms.
All one after another, in a row. Feels like a gauntlet that involved a lot of flying bullets.
*falls over*
Two papers from now, I'll be finished with most things for this half of the semester, not counting classes Thursday and Friday. (Yeah. There's going to be stupid online homework due whenever school starts again, because the philosophy teacher sucks. *sticks tongue out*)
It'll prolly be tomorrow when I post pictures and stuff, so uh...
Wishing on a flickering star for a war that's bound to happen.
Stuff since I last posted:
I uh… I had a birthday party that started on midnight Thursday, at Sultan’s (the hookah bar place). It kinda surprised me. Kinda surprised me a lot. *grins*
I was given balloons tied with pretty ribbon. They made me happy. (I tied them to my bed post) ^_^
I had a surprise thing in my room whenever I came off from work Thursday. *grins like crazy*
Friday: Hung out with Ruby Ann; went to the mosque while she converted. I guess it’s pretty much everything plus official.
Everyone afterwards went to celebrate at Sultan’s. I was so dead tired from everything from the whole week, and ended up falling asleep on one of the couches around 4am-ish (I think I was hugging a pillow >.<;; ) I got back in my room with the people that left “early”, and thus didn’t get in till 5:30 am. (It seems to be a running tradition for my group to stay on weekends till the sun comes up. The café place closes long before then, but they stay till everyone leaves, and till then, lots of interesting conversation occurs.)
Was woken up with a phone call at 8 (My aunt, the one I lived with before. The phone call was an honest out of the blue surprise, and a long inane story in itself, so yeah.) Slept till 2pm, and was awoken by a phone call from Franco’s aunt and cousin.
And that is how I ended up spending that night/early morning and all of Sunday fishing.
Oyeh, it was the first time I had ever went fishing! And it was fun. =D
… Even though no one caught anything, although I think a few people got sick (Eh, it was sort of windy-cold that weekend). And I got kinda sun burnt. And after 8 or so hours, the shrimp we were using as bait got really slimy gooshy and moreso smelly, which was attracting all these birds in our general direction, and there were crabs on the bottom that were stealing the shrimp right off the hooks..
But yeah. It was still fun. *grins*
I think part of what made it fun was the people I went with. We went to three or four different places; the ones I remember being Corpus Christi, Anaramus or something like that, and Indian Point. The last two that I remember were islands, so yeah.
Ok, it was late late Sunday night that I got back from fishing. That Tuesday this happened. If you click “watch this story” that’s highlighted in blue, you’ll see the dorm I live in. =X
It was like 2:30-something in the morning; I was in my room. Two of my friends were having stuff, and so they were in there with me talking, when all of a sudden some guy opens my door and walks right in. To make a long story short, he asked for someone who doesn’t go to our school (it was checked afterwards; it’s a nonexistent name on the dorm lists) whom he claims was his sister, blah blah blah, after he left I called campus police, they almost caught him in the parking lot, but he jumped in his car and tore out of there.
>This will ‘splain what happened 3 weeks ago-ish, which is what makes what happened Tuesday night a bigger deal than how it first comes off.
Oh yeah. If you watch the video thing, it says that campus police confirms that the guy didn’t have access to any of the dorms.
I wash my hands of the situation. *brushes hands* It’s nothing to stress about; I just need to remember to lock my door whenever I’m inside as well.
I’m prolly gonna post later tonight, about the wedding that was Molly’s.
And Kansas. And uh, some of the bus trip that was… you know, it seemed much longer coming back than it did going.
Finding culture in the oddest of places
Two friends of mine have decided to convert to Islam very recently. This sudden unexpected occurrence has brought up the old war inside of me, and oddly enough, has made the Muslims on campus stand out.
Aleia: We have Muslims on campus? O.o
Someone else: Yeah, they started this semester. All of them are obviously Arab, and two or three of them live in your building, no less.
Aleia: Huh. I wonder where I was, during all of this.
I mean, I think there is only one girl that’s Muslim, and she’s really obvious, cause she wears the hajab, the scarf. Plus she doesn’t speak English that well and wears perfume or something that is extremely familiar to me, in the sense that it’s something my conservative aunt has had since I was little, and has told me that it came from Saudi Arabia (She did, by the way. The girl at school, she came from Saudi Arabia.)
I've found a part of me at a hookah bar. Granted, the hookah bar/cafe is run by people in their early 20's... people around my age, so yeah. They were raised in the same culture that I was raised in, but became more Americanized, because they were also raised in America, and were exposed to it.
And that story in itself is a tad complicated. =X
Eh. Technically, I should be showering to go to work, and so I will fill in with a better update later.
Last night and today have so far been full of really unexpected but pleasant surprises. *smiles* ^_^
I’ve surmised that this birthday is going to last a few days, whether I want it to or not. *grins and shakes head*
?
Uh.. you guys can see the video I have down there, yeah? The coding seems to have stopped for me all of a sudden...
I'm really sick. I feel so yucky terrible; it hurts to swallow or anything and it seems cause my voice has taken leave, my beating heart feels that it's perfectly fine/acceptable to take up residence in my sore head. How come nothing wants to stay in their respective proper places? The oral presentation Wednesday should be interesting, to say the least.
Band: Katatonia
CD: The Great Cold Distance
Release Date: March 13, 2006
You dont even know how psyched I am for the release of this cd. I'd give my right pinky for it.
My voice seems to have taken temporary leave as of last night, which is wonderful, cause I have an oral presentation on Wednesday. I have a test to study for, so off I go.
