*sigh*
You know, it's kind of funny how things work out. Well, we talked. We're still together so far, and I wish I didn't have to let him go, but if that's what he thinks will make him happy... I want sooooo bad to not have to do this, but I know he'll come back. He knows he'll come back, too... Umm... It's kind of strange though. He's still going to call me almost every night, and he'll still wait with me after school, and he's still going to walk me to my classes and get me something for Valentine's Day. Weird, but okay I guess... I know it's selfish, but I really hope they don't stay together, if he still chooses to go. He told me he'll always love me. I wonder if she can handle that? In a way, I don't want to be selfish, but I really hope she can't. I'm sorry to say that, but I want him to come back to me as soon as he can. Every time he smiles at me, I'll know that he loves me. I'll have to tell him that. ^_^ Anyway, I'm wearing his necklace, but I put a heart on the chain. It's kinda symbolic, I guess. I wrote a poem last night. Here it is:
The Doorstep of My Soul
Standing on the doorstep,
Someone there is knocking,
Asking for my angel.
Indecision takes him.
Then he decides to go.
I cannot hold him here.
I'll let him go for now,
Because I have his love,
Forever and for always.
In my heart I hold a promise.
I'll come running when I hear
His resounding footfalls
On the doorstep of my soul.
I'm not sure if that's exactly how it went, because that's just from memory. Hopefully I'll be able to put the actual vesion up tomorrow.
