Awonderful Monday

Hey everyone!!
How are you today on a fine Easter Monday? Well today has been good, went shopping in the morning got myself a pair of shoes!! Woohoo! They are white dolly ones. They look cute.

I would like to apologise to Reno the Turk for not commenting on his site, I tried to but I just couldn’t open the window to comment.

OOOO!! I FINALLY WATCHED FINAL FANTASY ADVENT CHILDREN YESTERDAY!! Oh, my god, was it adrenaline rushing!!! I couldn’t breathe after watching it I was so hyped up!!! But it kind of got ruined a bit because my sister decided to walk in at the end when the fight was going on. DAMN!! But wow, it was good!!!

I’m updating early again today as I am going out tonight with some of my work mates and well I wont be updating till late tomorrow because I have to work 9am-6pm. Well I guess you will have to put up with my moaning and ranting tomorrow, some customers are just really unfair sometimes.

Chapter 7 Part 1:

She Left Your Side: Part 1

Laney lay there, so still and almost blue. Her body had no soul to it, no tears, no life. She looked so plain, all you could see was the out line of her body from the blanket over her, her lips stained blue and the all her life was gone. “Laney…” Jack called to her, trying to hold back his tears, but to no avail, he was just waiting for to open her eyes and smile at him, Laney was not listening, no one could tell if she was responding or not. The only way they knew she was alive was the sound of the machines in the background beeping away. “Why won’t she say anything?!” Jack was getting irritated “She was fine a few hours ago!” He punched his hand in to the side of Laney’s bed and stood up. Zacky was standing in the room peering out the window, he was deep into his thoughts to realise that Jack had now left the room.
The door made a loud thud as it close behind Jack; Zacky finally awoke from his deep thought and turned to face Laney lying on the bed. He walked up to her and placed his hand on her forehead stroking her hair that spread around the pillow like a fan. Zacky stood back from her, it was as if she was some sort of experiment, there were so many wires and tubes going into her body. It made him feel sick, the sight of his little sister lying on the hospital bed fighting for her life and yet there was nothing he could do about it.
“How’s she doing?” Nori entered the room, her eyes were all red and puffy, and it was obvious that she had been crying. She approached Zacky and hugged him, with Nori still in his arms he looked at Laney. They broke free from their embrace and sat next to Laney. “How are you coping?” Zacky asked Nori, he took a tissue out from his pocket and handed it to her as she was starting to cry again. “Well, I do not know,” Nori eyes were watering so much that she could not see “Seeing Laney like this, I feel so helpless,” Zacky understood what Nori meant. “The time she spent with me… training me, making me stronger. She didn’t have a care in the world apart from me, now look, she had done all that for me and I cannot do anything for her,” Nori clenched her fist she sat there staring at Laney trying to calm her anger down, but it was no use, she could not because she felt so powerless.
All of a sudden the machines started to beep, this was not right and they knew that. Nori rushed out to get a doctor, Zacky could not do anything. His sister was slipping away and he could not catch her. “Zacky! What's going on?!” Jack rushed in he went straight to Laney’s side and held her hand they felt cold and soft. They did not feel one bit like a fighter’s hand.
The doctors rushed in, they all crowded around her. One was checking her eyes; another was checking her heart, one rushed to get some nurses. It all became hectic. “We are losing her, someone prepare the crash cart!” One of the doctors shouted out. “Crash cart?! No!” Jack was falling again; it was a nightmare, which he wanted to escape. “Zacky!” Jack tried to get his attention, but it was not happening. Zacky has gone in to a state of shock. “She’s gone in to cardiac arrest!”
The doctors swam around her, trying to keep her alive, the sound of the constant tone in the machine was driving Jack mad. Nori stood next to Zacky trying her best to get a response out of him. “Can someone escort them to the family room please,” as the nurse escorted them out of the room, Jack could not help but stand at the door and watch them trying so hard to keep her alive. “She cannot leave us Jack,” Zacky finally broke, tears streamed down his face. He was in a constant stare all the time looking at Laney from outside the room. Nori stood between the boys, her eyes fixed on Laney’s face. They could not do anything apart from watch.
