Today on the "old people olympics"
During today's events, there was a big surprise during the carrying of the torch as old lady mildred caught on fire due to too much use of strong smelling perfume and hair spray, she was quickly extinguished due to the fast response of well trained nursing home attendants. the first event of the olympics was downhill wheelchair racing, in the men's event old man Herbert was up against old man Cecil. Herbert started off fast and quickly took the lead but then he pooped his diaper which caused wind resistance and he begain to lose speed and fall behind old man Cecil Passed him up just three feet from the finish line it was a surprising victory but was short lived as Cecil could'nt stop his wheel chair and crashed into a crowd of fans, luckily no one was injured. in the womans knitting event Ms. Nettie knitted five scarves and a hat losing to Ms.Ollie who knitted a four pairs of wool socks and seventeen pot holders.we asked Ms.Ollie how she was able to knit so fast and she simply stated "she always eats her tapioca pudding which gives her energy" coming up tommorow on the old person olympics.... Prune tossing and the fifty yard dash using walkers.. tune in tommorow (or whenever i post) for another exciting episode.
