"old people olympics" day two
as promised today's events include the fifty yard walker race as well as the old lady bake off and prune tossing so let's get started with the prune tossing.old lady Margie is up against old lady Gertrude. Margie seems to be in wonderful shape and is expected to win, she steps up to the line and prepares to toss her sweetened prune, she reaches into the box and pulls out what appears to be a large prune weighing 1 oz, let's see how far she can throw. she attempts to toss it but apparently it is stuck to her hand due to the fact she is attempting to throw she is off balance and falls to the ground breaking her hip such a tragedy.Gertrude is automatically disqualified due to putting denture adhesive on the prunes so we have no winners in the prune tossing,on to the fifty yard walker race in this event old man Walter is up against old man George and old man Orville. they are lined up at the starting line and they're off with the sound of the gun going off signaling the start of the race. oh know apparently old man Walter fought in WW2 and thinks he's under attack by the Germans he is crawling on the ground yelling about land mines and trenches. meanwhile George and Orville are neck and neck and have made it three inches from the starting line, this will take a while so lets go check on the ladies in the bake off...in this event Ms. Celia is up against Ms. Mertis. today the judges will be tasting the old ladies rubarb pie. it seems the judges prefer old lady Mertis's pie and after the event she was asked what her secret was she replied "why i always use moth balls, the add just the right spice and keep moths out of my closet" after the judges were rushed to the hospital to get their stomach's pumped Ms. Celia was declared the new winner and Ms Mertis was arrested, now back to the fifty yard walker race. Mr. Orville is in the lead as he is one inch ahead of Mr. George but they are only 1 foot from the starting line and it has been two hours.the fifty yard walker race will be continued.....
