   tokyo Pop's web site.
Alrighty, I'm a Fruits Basket fan. (the Manga version, not the anime look at a past post about that) And I've been looking forward to book Seventeen coming out since book sixteen came out. It said in the back of the book that book seventeen would be coming out sometime in August. So ever since August first I've popped into a bookstore looking for my fruits basket fix. It's now midway through the month and still no fruits basket (as of Monday)
I remembered last year that Tokyopop's website had the actually release dates of the book. So with High hopes,i go to Tokyopop's website. I was shocked over the fact that they have a boat load of complete crap on there website. People making there own mangas, and animes, and reviews written by ten year olds. It was awful.
It toke my over ten minutes just to find where the actual Manga section was. then another five minutes to find Fruits Basket. and I was asked to "Pop" things almost every other minute. it was just plain irritating. and once i found the book that i searched for. Written in the smallest print in the most unnoticeable corner of the page was the date,.... it came out yesterday.
*BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG*
if I wasn't so addicted to Fruits basket i would never read anything from tokyopop again. So the second the US, get to book 21. I'm NEVER reading another one of tokyopop's books again.

   I got an e-mail...
My e-mail box is so full of all sorts of crap that i would never even normally look at. know different newsletters and crap. normally i just delete everything just by looking at where they're from. but this time something actually interested me.
it was from Tokyopop, apparently they are putting some of there Mangs up on myspace. I have a myspace page so i went to check it out.
this is one of the strangest things i have ever seen. I was expecting like a page of the manga for me to read and flip through, much like the normal online comics. they had animated the manga... yes animated it. It has a theme song and all of the characters have voices. it's very strange and different.
I came onto the Otaku thinking that there'll be some kind of an articule about this and i haven't found any yet.
I'm actually wondering if tokyopop will end up selling anymore mangas and stuff by doing this. I don't think that it'll work. just becuase it's just to creepy.
