Land clearing in Cedar Key, go me!
Well I had an interesting day.
My grandfather owned some land in Cedar Key, only a little, as a tax write off. Well now it is my dads, has been for like fifteen years, anyhow, we, being me, my dad, and my 36 year old 6'6" brother Steven, went to clear it. We got there, and even though the road hadn't been maintained in twenty years ( 1985-2005 ) My brothers truck still made it back there, go four wheel drives with mud grips!
Well, we got back there after a rainstorm, and heat of the day. Well I, armed to the teeth with a bushhook ( Looks like a sycthe for cutting down trees and brush and such ) got to have the hottest, sweetiest time of my life, not to say such a hot, sweaty encounter with say, Angelina Jolie wouldn't top it, but this was pretty damn fun. I cut down so many little trees and things, screw nature, this was kickass, barbaric fun. Anyways after all that, we rode on down through Cedar Key, which if you don't live in Florida, is an island of in the Gulf of Mexico, right close up to Florida. Well after that, in my brothers truck thing, can't remember the type of truck, went mud bogging. A the good old fashion red neck fun. We were going through a game preserve afterwards, and saw an albino deer. Now, if you don't know, that is like the diamond in your mashed potatos of wildlife. It had red eyes. Oh, I wanted to either stab it, or hug it. Anyways then I came home and unloaded house panels for an hour and a half.
All in all, I am beat.
Like I am really, really tired.
I still have to read my PSM.
*sigh*
Well, I hope everyone had a good day/days.
I am still waiting to hear from my friend with furry ears, but I fear I may not for quite a while.
Well, later ya'll.
Lance.
