Death Note Dubs?!
Upon learning that there is to be an English dub of the highly pleasurable Death, Note I of course yearned to hear the cast assigned to each character. Naturally worrying the most about my favorite of all time, L, with Matsuda close in second. People who know me might ask, "Why are you so anxious to hear the voice cast in English? Don't you hate dubs?". My answer would be. I don't hate dubs if they do them right. I just prefer my anime in its original format. Still I always like to hear the voices in English at least once. You might say I like to scoff at the bad jobs they did in choosing. Don't get me wrong, there are a few anime I found containing very nicely done dubs. Such as Witch Hunter Robin, Bubblegum Crisis:Tokyo 2040, and Soul Hunter. These I honestly wouldn't mind having to hear in English if it were called for. Yet, there is something in the Japanese voices that seem to ring a resounding, 'perfect'! Resuming the topic at hand. Just recently the Official Trailers came out and one in particular, that being this one here, reveals L's and Light's voices! I do give credit to the one who does Light. It isn't baaad...BUT, it just is not him! The snippit from L's voice in the trailer seemed to be passible. I will have to wait and see. One thing I am worried about is if they give Matsuda a comic voice like they generally do with his kind of character. Take Taikabou from Sou Hunter as an example. When it comes to picking the right ones Americans are not as good as the experts.
Not much of a news report but once again I am working 2AM in writing this. Must get a better schedule. >.> Oh and while Death Note is the subject at hand, what the hell is everyone pairing up L and Light for?? Come on jack-a-ninnies! They o-b-v-i-o-u-s-l-y H-A-T-E each other. For crying out loud! Light kills L. Sheesh! I feel a report coming on...

Watched 100 Days With Mr.Arrogant. Very good movie. Very cute movie. And funny. I recommend watching it. The movie parts to it can be found here.
[Review Taken from crunchyroll (I am too lazy to type one up tonight.)]
This is a romantic, heart-warming story that tells a story of a young high-school girl, Ha-young and a college guy name Hyung-joon. On one unlucky day, after being dumped by her boyfriend on their 100 day anniversary, Ha-young, who thought that her life couldn’t be more miserable than it already is, meet an ‘arrogant, mean, bigheaded, good-for-nothing-except-his-look, spoiled-rich-brat’, Hyung-joon. She was on her way home when she accidentally hits Hyung-joon’s head with a can of Coke that she kicked out of anger. To make matter even worse, Hyung-joon who was driving at that moment crashed his car into a wall. He demands Ha-young pay the damage of his car, which cost $3000. Somehow, Ha-young managed to escaped from the situation.
Unfortunately, while trying to escape, she dropped her wallet at the scene and suddenly, all that she knows is Hyung-joon begun shadowing her life, demanding money for his losses. Without having that much money, she agrees to become his slave for 100 days and sign an ‘Enslavement Agreement’ in order to pay for the damage that she made to his car. Then, the nightmare of tortures and slavery begins. She does everything for him from cleaning his house, assisting him in while he shops, doing all the chores, cleaning his car and even writing his school reports.
Ha-young puts up with all the humiliations and hardships for the sake of $3,000 she owes Hyung-joon. However, one day, she discovers that the car could be fixed with only 10 bucks! This is when Ha-young the ‘poor little slave girl’ transforms herself into the ‘goddess of revenge’! She takes her revenge on Hyung-joon starting with his car. However, the joy of victory lasts only short time. To her surprise, Hyung-joon appears before her own eyes at her very home as her new tutor! Then the new kind of ‘slavery’ begins in a form of teacher vs. student.
Her miserable life continues as Hyung-joon takes advantage of the situation to use her as his slave once again. As far as Ha-young know, Hyung-joon brings her nothing but misery and hardship. She is forced to become his slave. But little that she know that, as they spend more time together, they become even closer than they could imagine and thus inseparable. Only when Hyung-joon suddenly disappears that Ha-young finally realized that he meant so much to her. What is the caused of Hyung-joon’s disappearance? Will they be able to meet again?
