My boyfriend just broke up with me....He says that we need to have a break but...I don't know why he would say it though.

It has been good....except for the damn racist comments!
Here is what happened just a few days ago...
made the biggest mistake last night:
I brought up to my parents that I was dating a black guy...my mom went into hysterics and my stepdad was like...SO?
My mom doesn't like the idea of mixed couples that much....I don't know why. There is absoulutley no problem with black people at all.
And I just found out that my Aunt...when her daughter became pregnant, the rest of the family didn't find out until 3 months after she was. This was because her mom (my aunt) was so embarassed that her daughter was having a mixed baby.
My family thinks that white people are perfect...even though we have black people in our family...by blood too. My family isn't perfect, it isn't what it seems.
My whole family, everyone except maybe a few, are racist. This really bugged me too. I asked my stepdad, "What if God wanted me to be with a black person? You can't change that. That would be a path that he has set out for me right?" He agreed with me but said that he wouldn't come near or in the house at all.
It's just...
I also asked him this question too. This question I believe is on one of the first 3 pages of this thread:
"Would the racist comments stop when God came to this world?"
He then answered me this:
"Yes. All of these comments would stop. If God came back to this world, everyone would drop to their knees, asking for forgiveness."
I agreed with him.
