Aaargh. I've been reading manga translations all day. I hate doing that, because.. well. They're spotty. They don't have a nice, continuous, coherent translation from volume one to volume nine, oh no. Some volumes are half done, others aren't done at all.. I pick up a volume and fall, utterly lost, into some random situation. Le sigh. When, oh when is Darkhorse going to pick up Maximum and make me a happy, Trigunningly fulfilled little otaku?
/end rant.
I want to write some 'fic, but nothing comes to mind. The latest KxL is going well.. there've been half a dozen comments on the two chapters, mostly from people I know/read regularly, which pleases me. I'd rather please the few people I've got a good opinion of than the screaming masses, yanno? ^^ Ah, me. I don't want to post chapter 3 until I get 4 at least begun... I'd like to keep PV moving slowly but surely, rather than in bursts like all the rest of it. Speaking of which, the 'fics on the primary penname (leboisduloup, just like this thing, if you're interested. ~.^ ::End whoring self out::) need to be updated. All of 'em. x.x Especially Match Made In Hell. MUST... MOCK... WxV FANS.... ::stare.::

Other than that.. in Otakuish news.. I cannot WAIT for con season to start again. *___* I'd love to have more costumes done but I honestly don't care, bring on the cons now and I'll be a happy gun-toting priest. Err, priestess. And bluehaired lunatic. And so on. ^^

Aaanywho, I'm either going to go sleep, or spend some quality time with the playstation. Oyasumi nasaaai! ::flits off.::

Incidentally, happy belated christmas. Why am i up at this ungodly hour? College essays, my friends, college essays.
I would so totally rather be writing a 'fic right now. x.x The new yaoi (::cough.:: i'm a bad person,) i uploaded seems to have garnered a fair amount of attention (for something by me, anyway,) and the reviews have been pretty positive.. though i don't quite get what they mean about paragraph spacing.. x.x maybe it's displaying oddly? i don't know... and there are two or three more chapters written, awaiting only a quick edit, some formatting, and an upload of their very own... but, alas, this last. bleeding. essay. is giving me SO much trouble. >.< it's the laaaast thing i need for this batch of apps to be over and done with for ever and ever and ever! gaaah. write yourself, biatch!

Yeah, I guess I'm just a follower as always. ::laugh.:: But if nothing else I like to have my name to myself everywhere. ^^ Anyway... um.. yeah. And I guess it's also an attempt at vague social-being. Pretty pathetic attempt, no? I'm no good at babbling at a random computer screen, yanno. ::Yawn.::
Iiin any case... Nothing too Otaku-ish to say. FLCL is confusing the hell out of me, but aside from that I haven't the time to watch a damned thing anymore. Supposedly this weekend's going to be a laid-back geeking fest and I'll FINALLY get to see the rest of Eva. Supposedly. We'll see.
Soo... In Animerica again, or so I'm told. Which is neat. Though I'm not entirely happy with how the Legato costume photographs... Whatever. I've also been told that Judgement (that is: the current cross punisher)got shinyspecial cropping, just like Mercy did the first time. ^__^ Which makes me happy, 'cos i'm an egomaniac about that damn prop.
In any case. That's enough for now, since I'm really just procrastinating Calc now.
