kyo's in the hopital again (though he's supposedly out). He fell off his red..crate thing (which wasn't duct taped securely enough) and apparantly got a concussion at the Toronto show. but like a trooper he kept on singing for like 5 more songs and walked off the stage. There was no meet and greet with the other band members either. afterwards, many fans witnessed paramedics backstage and him being taken away by an ambulance. so yeah, i really hope he's ok and everything...

IT HURTS!!!! and at the end kyo road off into the sunset on a golf cart X3!!!

hey i'm just here to share some info about kyo (sorry if this isn't new to you)
In Kyo's biography on Wikipedia.org, it lists the highlights of his career, life, and so on, but further down the page in the 'Interesting Facts' section it talks about the previous band he played in, La:Sadie's, as well as his habit of excessively lying in interviews. We all know this, of course. However, the thing that caught my attention was the fact that Kyo was offered the role of Yoshitoki Kuninobu for the movie Battle Royal.
Kyo also designed the suits for Battle Royale II. It's on BR's official pages and BATSU because BATSU are the ones that backed Kyo's design for the 2nd one.

hey, hows it going everyone? pretty good here, i'm just finishing a layout for this girl on vf. so yeah, i'm so sleepy -_-. i finished a fanart piece last night and it made me tired. it's already up, i'd appreciate it if you'd comment on it ^o^. gah, i wish i had more to say. uhh....i'll leave you with a question i've been thinking about for a while: why does kaoru love his face pubes so much? i mean, i just wish he'd shave the damn things off!
hows it going? well this post will be pretty short. i don't have hardly anything to say and i'm tired from finishing my first myspace layout. WOOT! my cousin wanted me to make him a layout of the new texas chainsaw massacre that's coming out this october. yeah...hmmm...what else to say? oh yeah, in that video i had on here yesterday, after shinya fails at trying to shotgun a beer, you see a couple of guys lined up attempting the same thing. well, turns out kyo is the 4th one in the line, its just so dark you can barely see. it made me gigglesnort when i watched it cuz kyo doesn't really like alcohol. also i came across a girl on lj that hugged kyo at one of the FVT concerts, which means she's so effin' lucky! first of all, you have to buy a diru cd (or other stuff) to meet the members, not only that but there's only 2 members there, and so far kyo hasn't showed up at any of them (which means she got to meet one of the members without paying any money).
so this girl was leaving the concert early and just happened to see kyo talking with some guys and yells out "kyo-san!!!" and kyo turns around, this girl then walks up to him, shakes his hand, tells him how good the show was (which makes kyo laugh and smile at her....*grr*), HUG HIM, and then gets him to autograph her pants! omg, i could have died from jealousy -__-!
well today i'm semi-pissed. i've been reading dir en grey reports from the FVT and almost all of them say that ppl aren't being as lets say 'nice' as they should be. omg! if you look at pictures, there are barely any ppl in the audience when dir en grey comes out. also there were reports of ppl booing and some of the dir en grey fans were getting made fun of for liking them. also a dir en grey 'fan' cussed out shinya! omg, i would have strangled that bitch! she made some drawings of all the band members or something and not all of them were at the meet and greet and she threw them at shinya and said "THEY BETTER F**KING GET THIS!" the girl that wrote this report said that she went up to shinya and die and kept apologizing to them, but still, i don't think i've ever felt so ashamed to live in texas. well, on the brighter side. bullets and octane have a video of theirs and die and shinya are in it. lol, they ask die if he likes girls (die's voice is funny ^ - ^) and (this part got me the most) shinya tries to shotgun a beer! haha it made me laugh. heres the video, they're in it at about the 0:50 mark, after some guy vomits.

Hello!!! i'm back!!! sorry i've been away for awhile ; _ ;! i've just been busy getting stuff ready for school. grr...one of my friends signed me up for this program last year so now i have to show the freshman around and get them used to the school. that's stupid. plus i got my schedule for this year and they put me in all the wrong art classes too! i mean, i would suck at pottery -_- ; it just plain sucks. BUT! do not worry! i come obsessing over miyavi! yeah, i'm back X3! i made a miyavi tshirt yesterday too. me and my best friend made one each. hers says "miyavi: yeah he's all that and a bag of chips." and mine says "miyavi: my fandom so pwns your fandom" we're such dorks XD! i just recently downloaded oresama (shhh...don't tell) and i've been watching it so many times.

biography
Not a lot is known about our elegant artist. Miyavi began playing the guitar when he was fourteen, and played soccer (for Europeans, this would be football) throughout high school, and still plays as a hobby, though would never choose it as a profession (though i daresay he certainly has enough energy!). It is rumored that he played in a band called the Loop, or the Loop Group, but i cannot say this is true. but i do know for sure that he was one of a two-person group, possibly called New Generation? no verification on the name though. at age 18 in 1999, he signed as a guitarist for indie rock band Due le Quartz (DlQ), making him the youngest member and leaving no time for college. (he wanted to be a doctor, because "it's important to help people". an Asian parent's dream, eh?) so DlQ was all *success* until they disbanded in September 2002, not long after Miyabi had his 22nd birthday. Miyabi then changed his name to Miyavi and began releasing singles as a solo artist under the indie label PSC (they say it stands for "Phalanx of Swashbucklers Company). now we see that he must have been planning this solo career for quite some time, eh? however, many former die-hard DlQ fans were disappointed with Meev's solo work, and turned away without even the comfort of any visual kei he could have included (DlQ was quite visual). but with his new music came new fans, and many of them. not too far down the road, Miyavi announced that he would be starring in a movie, Oresama, which was released in February 2004. Now he has announced two new major albums in addition to his first major and two indie albums XD. and so the road goes ever on and on, and Miyavi never ceases to amaze his fans again and again.

~when asked what he was like when he was small, he said he was a good kid and he did his homework and studied, but he was really into soccer, and he liked to be around people. he was a "latchkey kid" but since he knew that no one was inside, instead of going indoors he'd just hang out around his home until his parents came home. and when he got older he'd spend all day hanging out with his friends or playing soccer.
~when speaking of the bonus track on his second album, he states that it is something he put everything he was feeling into at the time.

~for quite some time, he claimed his Zodiac sign is a Pegasus; of course there is no Pegasus Zodiac. now he has returned to saying Virgo.
~Miyavi and his manager Saitou are very close; they'e pretty much best friends.
~he has never released his full real name. he has, however released his last name (ishihara – and yes, this is the first portion of the name of his band, “ishihara gundan’. Gundan is like a military squad).

~about the name change: in DlQ, he was Miyabi. Once he went solo, he changed to Miyavi. However, the Japanese have issues pronouncing the "v" sound, as it is not used in their language (kind of like the "w" sound, though that is used a little). Therefore, instead of using a "v" sound, they use a "b" sound. So his name is still pronounced the same; you are just supposed to write it differently.
~he says he cannot go a day without hugging someone (NIG)
~to try to be healthy, Miyavi tries to drink a lot of orange juice (he also is quite fond of the drink), and i have heard that he has stated that he won't drink coffee, tea, soda, or sake. (Sake is fermented rice beer native to Japan and usually consumed hot or warm). However, I'm not sure of this last part because hes been seen drinking a lot of tea (in comments, etc) and has talked about drinking alcohol.
~his early stage and PV clothes were made by Fotus (also for the photos taken for Gagaku), which he modeled for in a fashion show in '03. Fotus makes kind of space-y stuff like in Pop is Dead PV, but MYV doesnt really wear Fotus any more.

I've heard of people who've had conversations with him in English; it's just not very understandable XD. besides, Japanese kids have to take English throughout school, so he should be able to speak a little. maybe not very fluently, but whatever. i think he had to take a few english lessons for the Nirvana coverage album, though, so, idk. Spoken language is not the only means of communication, though.
~his parents are divorced, which is why you rarely hear him talking about his father. i dont know how old he was when they divorced, but he also had a bad relationship with his dad for a long time. they only recently started talking to each other again.

~4/11/06: Megumi, wife of Yoshida Hisanori (or, as i like to call him, the LFX Dude), whome Miyavi wrote "Yappari, megumi ga Suki" for (download available at downloads site), gave birth to their first child, Yoshida Zaku-chan, but three months before the date of delivery, the name was changed to Yoshida Miyabi-chan. ^^ I bet Miyavi-sama is ecstatic!
