Hooray for randomly wandering the Toowoomba CBD looking for a birthday present for Deyve.

Stupid hardness of finding something that would work, but we did, oh we did.

*evil laugh*

One thing we couldn't find, however, was a bunch of cheap plastic swords!

We went to Overflow, Dimmeys, Crazy Clarks, Makro, Target and even Myer!

Nuzzing.

It's as though there's a sudden shortage or something.

Ah well.

It won't be as fun to be a pirate without a sword...arr...

*pout*

Ah well, at least this is my first weekend in a while that I have absolutely no schoolwork I need to do!

'Right, that's it. We're going to beat them...beat them with a stick! ...yes...I am well aware there aren't any sticks in Halo...shut up...Just shoot him!' [Random Halo Moment]

Okay folks, it's that time again that we all know and love!

That special random moment that involves some of Liam's zany antics!

*dances*

That's right folks, Lima Bean is doing the 'Exams Complete for the Semester' dance!

Just look how elated he is now that it's all over.

Feel the love folks.

^_^

So relieved that it's all over for now. Exam block is a useful tool and all, but it really, really, drains you. It's such a kick in the pants when it comes to learning how to manage your time.

I was close to screwing up my Chem exam, but lucky for me I had a couple hours spare the night before, unlike some other people.

Whew.

I think, at a minimum, I passed, at a stretch, I managed a B.

Hopefully the latter.

^_^

Weee! Day off tomorrow!

*dances some more*

Oh wait. Damn. I've got to get two referees for my applications to Myer and Target. I wanted to get Mrs Hurley, my CLP teacher at school, but I won't see her 'till Tuesday

Looks like I'm going to have to go with some family friends, which is okay I guess, but most employers look for Teachers and such that have more contact with me.

Ah well.

It'll have to do, because I don't want to leave it until Tuesday.

EDIT: Just found two referees and I just submitted my application online. Hopefully I'll get this, it'd be sooo good for the holidays.

Hmmm...missing...

Do the, 'I have only one exam left,' dance!

*dances*

Mm, the good news is that I roxxored [lol] on my Ancient exam, and I think I managed to scrape a pass in my physics exam.

x.X;;

*crosses fingers*

Now for some Chemistry study.

And then no more!

*laughs maniacally*

'Should same sex marriages be outlawed? Answer for a FREE $50!' [Ad on MyOtaku]

Okay, it's official, RvB has released the funniest episode, ever.

Anyone and everyone must now submit to it and download it!

www.redvsblue.com

Episode 36

I haven't laughed so much since I watched that Black Books repeat last friday.

^_______^;

Aside from recently downloading and watching a RvB episode, I've done about 5 hours worth of study. So much study.

x.X;

I'll do some more before the exams tomorrow. I haven't managed to do some chem study, which is unfortunate, but I think Physics and Ancient have priority...

Ah well.

*watches it again*

'Negative, you are a vomit popsicle'

*Quiz stolen from Juu. Look at my Piratey thievin' skills, arr!*

Speakin' of being piratey, here's the invitation to Deyve's party.

[Mind you, I did write it, so wonder at my skills, lol]

'Yargh! On the Nineteenth of the Sixth month we be celebratin' Captain Deyve n' his wend Roxie's comin' of age. A treasure map be included for ye to find your way. Roxie be sixteen and Deyve be seventeen and they be expecting ye at the hour of seven in the evening! Ye better be in ye costumes or else ye scurvy braggarts be walking the plank down to Davy Jones' Locker.'

Heh.

Finally managed to see LOTR3 on Saturday. It was an awesome movie and all, the battles looked cool, the plot line was easy to follow...the battles were cool...the ghost guys were cool...the battles were cool...Legolas and Gimli were hilarious...did I mention the battles were cool?

*cough*

However, there's one blight on the whole thing.

Frodo Baggins is an annoying dirty prat of a git!

*cough*

Well he is. All of the scenes centered on Frodo, Sam and Gollum frustrated me to no end. I'm sorry, but there's no way I could watch that movie again without skipping those scenes.

If I were Sam, I would've kicked both Frodo and Gollum over the cliff.

Dirty little git.

*cough*

I'm cool..

'A singing hobo has eaten all your yams?'

Movie= much goodness. I loved it, the film style was dark, but it really helped set mood for the movie.

[Ha! Not using proper english terms, take that! Try to teach me something..]

I know people have said that Sirius wasn't what they expected [Juu! *points], but I think Gary Oldman did an excellent job.

I mean, I know we all have a romanticised view of Sirius being tall, dark and handsome [Guilty as charged], but the movie really showed him as he is.

Heh, Sirius is crazy. Oldman was dirty and well...hobo-looking, but he looked like a man who had been locked up in a sub-zero prison that sucks all the happiness out of you.

So there, nyeh. I like Oldman as Sirius.

I picked up on a few things that were put into the movie that weren't in the book [mm..foreshadowing], not the obvious stuff like Hermioney grabbing Ron's hand, but little character changes.

I mean, did anyone notice that Percy [when barging through the students and saying 'I'm head boy'] looked rather greasy?

I thought it was a nice touch, revealing the start of his bad character.

Another thing too, when Draco asks Harry if it was true that he fainted on the train, he looks honestly perplexed, until his friends take an interest.

And he whispers the question, unlike in the book where he shouts it.

Actually, I thought Tom Felton and his Slytherin crew did a great job in this one, they were so much more developed as characters than in the last one.

^_^

*cough*

Enough of the movie reviewing.

One of the more funny things was before the movie even started. Now BCC have this thing here where they have these advertisements for local businesses before the movie starts, and they're always dark and blurry.

Owing to the movie theatre being so packed [I haven't been in a line that long since Lion King was released], we were sitting fifth row from the front.

In front of us were two guys about my age [decked out in D12 gear, surprising how many Eminem fans like HP].

As I was saying, stupid dark advertisements.

What happens after that?

Bright, bright blue screen with 'this preview has been classified as PG'

Mm...blinding..

What do the guys in front say?

'AAH! MY BRAIN!'

lol

Classic.

'Someone ate all of your watermelon?'

^________^

Oh, how it feels so very, very good to have finished two exams. I can't believe how well I went in my Maths B exam, hopefully it's a B, same with English.

All I need to do is maintain the B level in English..hopefully a high B.

Without Mark's help, this would be a very different post indeed.

^_^

*dances*

Another thing I can't believe is how quickly the day went. I mean, I didn't feel rushed at all in my exams, I finished them and realised that a whole two hours had gone by.

Well, that's a lie, in english I realised I was a hundred odd words short and I only had 5-10 minutes left.

x.X;;

Weeble.

An update on the hackey-sack, I'm still bad, but I'm at least able to keep a rally going.

;p

Welp, going to have a shower now and then go see Harry Potter, so in the wise words of Donut from RvB, 'Suck it Blue!'

"The Americans will always do the right thing... After they've exhausted all the alternatives." Winston Churchill

For the love of...that's right. Freeze up and lose my entry you stupid computer.

Just continue to make me angry.

*resists urge to break things*

So much anger, but I need to get this done.

Right!

Basically, I feel like an armature for an AC Slip Ring motor with a load that is too high.

A rather fitting physics analogy.

Physics does not make any sense whatsoever. I'm attempted study and revision, so many times, that I can't number them.

I don't recall anything of the facts, just the useless rubbish like, 'Michael Faraday's life is a fascinating story.'

Yeah, that really helps me find out what happens to a particle when it crosses a magnetic field line.

I went to the Physics tute in the vain hope that it might help me. Yeah, good luck with that one.

Half an hour in, after reading and rechecking my notes to try and understand what the hell she's saying, I gave up. I groaned, slumped forward and put my text book over my head like a little tent.

'I know it's bad Liam, but it's not that bad.' Quoteth Flynn.

'Trust me, it is.' Sayeth I.

'Does anyone have a problem with this? Michael? You look confused, is there something you don't understand?' Speaketh Mrs Ellyett.

Michael was sitting right beside me.

Talk about being comfortably blind.

So I said, 'screw this.' And packed up and walked out.

Apparently she didn't mind/notice that much/care, lol.

Maths B was incredibly painful. I swear, I'm getting more ignorant as the day goes by.

If you're getting sick of me ranting, at least I'm not blaming my own faults and short comings on others.

So suck it in!

There were a few highlights to the day, one was playing hackey sack an awful lot, and having Jacob [one of the American students that came on a tour here for some reason] join in and show off his ability to catch it with his face!

^_^

Second highlight was Mr Wheatley refer to me as 'resident scholar' in class.

Doesn't mean much to anyone else, but it's important to me, pathetic, aren't I?

Ugh. Frustration doesn't leave.

Right, tomorrow I'd better understand analysis a whole lot better and improve on this stupid C4 I got, or I'm gunna....cry, to be honest.

I feel so tired, I get eight hours sleep, but I feel like I'm going to collapse, I'm on the verge of tears and an explosive fit of violence all at the same time.

As usual, to the would I'm just a polite smile.

'Her tears smell like gravy.'

Wee. Hurrah for being braindead and very slowly getting over it. Don't ask me how, but the old Liam is very vengefully clawing his was back.

I was on fire for that Ancient History exam.

I guess all that forgotten study was just hiding in my subconscience...I hate that...

I'm not too concerned about Physics I'll never pass, because when she explains stuff, I know it's supposed to make perfect sense, but it doesn't.

*shrug*

Still hurts to get an E, though.

-.-;

Welp, all I'm going to have to do is work hard on Maths B, I know I can pull a B, then I'll start attacking an A...with an adze.

*shakes fist*

I handed in my RE assignment, which I'm rather proud of, seeing as she can't do anything about it that'll really affect me. I mean, RE is non-OP, and a complete was of time. I fulfilled the syllabus by handing in an assignment, all she can do is give me a mark that won't affect me in the slightest.

Mm...amusing...

^_^

Lots and lots of work to do. There's a lot of soul searching and poignant thoughts I'd like to type, but I guess you'll just have to deal with the bare facts.

Blair wants to get on to do his assignment.

For a year eight, he's putting in too much effort.

...wonder if that's my problem...

'Hmm, this chicken sandwich tastes pointier than usual.'

Welp, RvB haven't updated and neither has MiH.

There goes my weekend.
