Finished!
I finally finished that dratted Art assignment. I'm sixty words short, but I really don't care.
As long as I get a good mark I'll be happy.
^_^
On an ever better note, Edward (cloricus) has been doing some kick-ass work on the video filing for my Ancient assignment. I really would have rathered to do it myself, but apparently my Graphics card isn't good enough.
Damn that graphics card.
lol
Also SYF is doing really well, and I believe it should live up to it's predecessor.
Hurrah!
Hopefully it won't die when I go away for a week at Christmas...however..
x.X;;

Hmm
Had an interesting conversation with BG. Talking things, convincing her to read Matthew Reilly books (they're so cool) and then I had an epiffany (or whatever it is).
Wouldn't it be sweet to have an anime portrait of the characters from SYF?
^___^
She said it was a cool idea, and that she'd offer, but she can't draw without visual reference.
So yeah.
*makes general appeal to SYF fans who can draw animeness*

Today was the last 'official' day for the grade 12's. Which unofficially means open season for grade 11 hunting.
lol
The 12's were reported to have over 2500 water balloons, and went down town to buy more, but they were all sold out because of the rush of students from other schools to buy them.
Now, water ballons are cool, everyone loves water ballons because its only water, right?
Well, the 12's had balloons filled with watered down mustard, barbeque sauce. Ohh yeah, they also had rotten eggs and fruit.
lol
There was a regular mexican stand off when we had Art.
You see, our class entrance is right inside the Grade 12 area.
There was a whole line of them holding water bombs and fruit, watching us through the glass doors and windows.
x.X;;;
Eventually Mrs Jackson lead us out the back way. Evan opened the roller door that's used for deliveries, poked his head out, said it was clear, and also said;
'Run if you want to live!'
lol
What else is there...umm..
I have to write a 1000 word Art assignment?

Aww
Aww..I miss going to seminary. I wake up every morning and think 'all right, seminary ^_^'
..and then realise it's finished for the year.
Also, I have much angst over this frame capture program called Fraps.
Now fraps is probably good for some people, but it's not for me.
Same goes for Hypercam.
-.-;
Edward has been a really big help, but I just can't seem to get these working.
Gah.
The only video footage that fraps will attempt to record....is the advertising movie for Age of Mythology.
-.-;
And I can't even view the .Avi file because all thew programs I run it through say it's an invalid file.
Bah.
I really want this to work...but it won't..

Fwah
I'd complain about how much I'm yet to do, but yeah. Been down that road way to many times.
I haven't received any word about that job, but if I don't know by tomorrow afternoon, I don't have it.
So yeah, whatever, lol ^_^;
SYF is going well and I'm enjoying it (eheh..blowing up a quarter of the Singaporean Central Business District is fun...) and it seems everyone else is as well. I hope it lasts just as long as SYF2.
When I look back on how far I've come in my life, it's interesting, really interesting. I remember thinking of all the things I wanted to do, and how I'd always wanted to be as good as some people I ideolised.
When I check on this year, I've done all these things that my mind instantly plays down.
Compared to last year, I did jack all, but this year I've thorwn myself into things, and I think it's really helped my growth in life.
Last night I was thinking about the friends I had in primary school. One in particular really. I haven't talked to him in an age, grade nine I think, we saw LOTR:1 with Jess R.
Anyhow. It's scary how much he influenced me. I mean, switching to that primary school ripped me out of my comfort zone, and I was such a serious introverted loner.
^_^;
I know, I do not lie, it's true.
I basically stuck to myself and read in the library (Harlequin will remember that it was all I ever did at Highfields).
Somehow, don't ask my why, Michael and I became friends.
Michael was the crazy guy that had no clue most of the time in class, but always seemed to scrape by. He was popular and had a killer sense of humour.
Did I mention he was the king of Rugby Leage and Soccer?
Talk about the regular odd couple eh?
It's amazing how such a little thing can change your life. I shudder to think what type of person I'd be now if it wasn't for him.
Funny how we credit so much to people in our lives, especially when it's true...

Woot, or something of the sort
It seems that quite a few people have mentioned in their blogs about the stuff they did on Halloween. As an Australian I'm pretty much exempt from that particular celebration, so you've lucked out this time..
However, that Frisay night I spent at a primary school musical (Holyname was using our hall) dressed in black and helping out as backstage crew ^_^
Hurrah!
Mmm, taped Basil Brush, and I do find it rather amusing ^_^
'Boom Boom!'
lol

No answer? Awww
Lala..
I have an English assignment, English Exam, ten minute Ancient History oral and an Art Assignment to do in the next two weeks.
O.o;
Not to mention a physics prac that's coming up and a Chem practical
Then after that is exam block.
lol
But the highlight is, after all that it's holidays.
yay!
^_^
I'm having fun with my Ancient History oral. You see, I've decided I might work on the Chinese army, ancient China that is. Seeing as I can have access to a lightpro and VCR/Computer, I thought I'd record an Age of Empires battle between the Chinese and the Huns, to illuminate the various soldiers and tactics.
(You see, our computer has a yellow video out plug...)
The thing is, I just plugged the VCR in before and tried it out, I recorded from AU, 1,2,3,4,5 and none of them recorded any footage of what was on the monitor.
There are 48 channels all up on the VCR -.-;
So yeah. Umm..basically I believe the only way to actually work this out is to rig up the VCR to the computer and have the TV plugged into the VCR, much like when we had the PS2 rigged through the VCR.
Thing is though, our TV is bulky, about 50/60 centimetres, and it's a jungle of cables behind it.
And the video out plug on the back of the computer might not even work
x.X;;;
So what I want to know is, if anyone can help me, or, is there a program that can enable recording of game footage?
(Like umm..'print screen' except in video o.O; )
Maybe Edward knows...
