I'm back, with cool, cool shades ^_^
I managed to pick up myself a sweet pair of Matrix sunglasses [Neo] for $25 at the markets. They came with the genuine tags etc, and in OPSM and the like, they're $125.

Ehe, I don't care if they are knock offs, they are *dramatic pause* the coolest

^_^;

I'm also more of a bronzed Aussie now, seeing as I was able to traipse around without my shirt on, so my stomach isn't so shamelessly white.

Nana and Grandad are great [Grandad is officially the most awesome Grandad ever. Text words do not do him justice]. We walked on the beach and on the little path, complete with mango trees, loaded up with [unripe] fruit.

The water is clear and pristine, the sun is hot though. It's times like these that I'm grateful that I take after the Kurdish blood in my Dad, because I just tan, baby.

Eheh, Blair walked outside for like five minutes on the beach without sunscreen, and he flashfried.

I know I shouldn't laugh, but I am.

lol

Oh yeah, while up there Mum was reading one of Nana's books on the British Isles. I really didn't care at first, and then I noticed that there was a section on Ireland, the country side, the local quirks, ancient tales.

Everything.

It's true what Matthew Rielly said, when you make an effort, the research starts to come to you.

[Mind you I haven't had any German Weapon manufacturer's representatives come knocking on my door.]

So yeah, I actually enjoyed my few days up there, but I'm glad to be back.

It's nice to see that SYF hasn't gone off on a wild adventure without me, and Flynn's net is back online, so yay!
