I love the water in highfields.

Note the sarcasm, lol.

Mum recently asked me to hang out my school pants on the line, and as I picked the basket up, I noticed a truly foul smell.

For those of you blessed with a septic tank, it smelt like the grey water. Those of you that aren't, try the smell of a small piggery.

So yeah, that's how the water has been smelling recently, that's been in our washing machine, and coming out of the taps.

Mmm...septicy...

We complained about the water quality once before [seeing as it was turning our stomachs, lol] and we received a letter from the council [aka, the useless council] that stated, more or less;

'The water supplied to Highfields meets the World Health Organisation's standards for a developing country..'

I mean, Highfields is developing, yes, but it's not a third world country..

Ah well, it's just sad that they were proud of the fact that their water reached the world minimum standard..

..wells in Africa have better water than we do...
