I'm not moody at all..mooooody...moooody...
I now know why there's no way in hell I'd be an Adventure Arena mod.
lol
I read the posts in the top RPG there, some Card Captor fanfic.
Most, with a few exceptions, of the posts in there are a paragraph long, 4-5 lines. And that's just the first page!
Gah!
I would have dropped down on them like a ton of bricks for clogging up the arena with such a lazy attempt at a story.
Can see why I don't have a mod rod aye?
I'm probably too much of a puritan when it comes to quality. Quality! Not quantity!
That's what you get if you sign up to one of my RPGs, I always, always put it in the sign up.
lol, that's probably why my RPG's fail, because I want them to be good.
I'm seeing less and less original works in the arena as well, it's mostly all fanfics or rip-offs of something that has been done before.
Like that 'Totally new Vapire!!!!1' one. Ok ok, he didn't type that, but it was close enough.
Vampires have been done before. 'Nosferatu: Forsaken Rights' for example. I was there, most of the RPG oldies would remember it. Now that was a good Vampire story. Not to mention Summer the Vampire Slayer, that was awesome as well, (and it was done by Sarsy who, at the time, was a newbie).
Besides the good ones, there have been a zillion Vampire RPG's buzzing in and out of that forum, each as individual as a tile in a bathroom.
Why go claiming something has never been seen before if it already has?
Stuff Charles has done as never been seen before, stuff James has done as never been seen before, stuff Harlequin has done has never been seen before, stuff Raven has done has never been seen before.
Do you see them spouting how new it is?
*sigh*
Ah....much goodness in getting rant out of system.
I'm sorry if I offended anyone out there, but hey, I'm a pitbull when it comes to attacking people with really, really pathetic post quality.
That's just the way I am.
On a lighter note, Red vs Blue #19, the last of the Season, is out!
Yayyyy! ^_________________^
8% down..92% to go o.O;;.
Hooray for Bit Torrent, 'cos otherwise I'd still be waiting to download with Getright..
Scratch that, 10%
^_^
EDIT: WHAT? Who the heck is Arcadia?
Fine, that's it. I give in. If James has to give in to hiring people for the RPG section who haven't even seen it long enough to post 50 posts, he obviously feels that there isn't any experienced oldies there that are good enough, or dedicated enough to put the effort in.
Bah!
What about Rae? What about Gavers? What about Ken?
Ken'd be sweet for the job, he always puts the effort in. Rae know's what she's talking about, not to mention she has my respect when it comes to writing. Not many people have that. Gavers is just hilarious, he's dedicated as well, not to mention he treats everyone well and has been here practically from the beginning, much like Ken.
*sigh*
Wait, I washed my hands of this didn't I?
lol
I should take a restraining order against myself on the topic of modships.
Look, I'm not saying that these new mods aren't going to do the job well. They haven't been there long enough yet to show.
I'm just saying it's odd to go attracting new people when you've got people here who have the experience with how things work, not to mention you know what they can do.
It's just like...well..odd..y'know?
