It has been decided
Hey everyone!

I have great news! I now have my first boyfriend. *^^* We had our DTR (define the relationship) Monday night. We actually did it by typing on his computer because other people were in the room and we didn't necessarily want them listening. He e-mailed it to me so that I have a copy, but I'm afraid you're not going to see. Like I said, it was between him and me. One of our mutual friends is upset at us for dating, but I won't go into that. Long story, trust me. His b-day is this Friday and I'm so excited! I bought cake mix and my mom has mailed his present because I wasn't able to get it while I was home. I just hope it gets here on time!
Anyway, we only have 3 weeks together really. That's when the school block ends and we both go home. Then he goes on his mission in January. We both agreed that we won't be boyfriend and girlfriend when he leaves though because then we wouldn't have to worry about the things that so often come with that.

Home Sweet Home!
Oh man! I am so glad I was able to come home for Thanksgiving!!! It was a long drive. We left at 3:30 yesterday and I got home at 4 am this morning. Very tiring.

The only thing that's hard for me right now is that I don't have someone here with me. You see for the last week and a half I have been spending every night with this guy... Oh I really like him a lot. We're still trying to figure out what's going on right now though. The thing is he's leaving for his mission in 2 months and we just started this. We know that we're rather dating right now and that we definatly won't be boyfriend and girlfriend when he leaves, but otherwise we don't know anything. Yesterday was my first night without him since we got together. I miss being with him so much! I just wish I knew what was going to happen next... He is just so sweet, but I really don't want to distract him when he leaves, but at the same time I want to be with him. It's just so confusing!

I don't know... We'll figure it out, that's all I DO know right now. I'll let you know how everything goes though. As for now, Have a great Thanksgiving and I'll talk to you later! ^^

Just so you know
Just so that everyone knows, the thing that says "Don't click here" is a link to my website. I've had people ask if it led to some sort of virus or something. It doesn't.    Preference
Hey everyone!

Well, last Saturday was Preference and I still haven’t told all of you about it! ^^;

Well, actually first I had stake conference for church that night at 6:00 when the dance is at 8:30 so I had to get ready before conference. The ward clerk’s wife did my hair. It was funny... Here’s how I got her help:

The Sunday before the dance I went to a ward fireside for church. It ended at 8:15. Afterwards I met up with my date to clear some details up for preference. We end up talking (at eatting our refreshments for the fireside) until 8:50. When we finally decide that it's time to go, we leave in seperate directions. As I'm heading towads my door, the ward clerk's wife runs up to me calling out for me to wait. When she gets there she links our arms and says, "I saw him smiling at you! Is something going on between you two?" I tell her that I asked him to preference and she gets so excited telling about how wonderful he is and everything. I tell her that I'm a bit nervous though because he's at least three years older then me being an RM and freshman both. She says, "Oh don't worry about it! My husband's 5 years older then me! I got engaged when I was 18 and married about a month after I turned 19. It's nothing to worry about.” In my head I'm freaking out a bit though because she's talking about marriage and I've only been there like 2 months! ^^; After that I walk with her and her husband to their car and askes to do my hair because she loves doing people's hair and I told her that I had no idea what I should do.

So she did my hair, and wonderful job of it I might add! ^^ After my hair was done another friend (who also happens to be my date’s family home evening sister for church) did my make-up. She did a great job too! ^^ Matched everything really well using the small variety of make-up I own!

After Conference the boys came over (I went on a double date with another friend) and made us dinner. Actually they made us breakfast for dinner! ^^ Blueberry pancakes, bacon, and this thing that one of them called calorie casserole (A weird quiche type thing with sausage, potatoes and eggs). They also brought some sparkling cider. I love that stuff! ^^ They let me keep the bottle! ^^;

The dance itself was also a lot of fun! He is in a dance class up here so he taught me some dances for fun. They played swing music twice and he taught me moves that I didn’t know before and it was so much fun! ^^ One of the things that happened while at the dance was that we got into a big group with others, but ended up across from each other. That was no fun for me because I asked him to the dance to dance with him and not across from him. So finally I say that I give up and walk across the circle to be next to him and he gave me a high-five for it. Shortly there after we rather separated from the group and danced just the two of us which I had never actually done before during regular music, so that was fun too! ^^

After the dance we went into the dorms for my lounge because guys aren’t allowed in after 11:00 and it was around 11:30. We stayed in there until the boys were kicked out of the lounge at 12:52 because there is a 1:00 curfew. It was actually rather hard to say goodnight, and no I didn’t get a kiss. We hugged, but it was a nice hug. ^^

I think we both had a great time. I say this because we went to a church stake dance and hung out just the two of us there too and unless he had a good time too, I don’t think he would have come.

   Another Wonderful Surprise!!!
I'm SO totally happy right now! I'm like seriously on cloud 9!!! ^^ Ok. Here's what happened:

Yesterday I asked a guy to preference by putting my name in a small box, putting that in a bigger box, in another and another and another until the box was as high as my knees.

Today around 5:30 some friends from across the way come over and have me open the door to find this pumkin that goes half to my knees there. Surprised I open it (it was already carved out) to find a smaller one inside with a smaller one in it and a tiny one within it. Inside the smallest one was a pumkin seed that had "yes" written on it. ^^

It was such an awesome surprise! I can barely sit still right now. I wish I could show you right now, but my friends with cameras are out. *sniff* But I'll show you soon! Promise! Talk to you later!

   Big surprise!
Ok this week is homecoming/spirit week at my college.

Well, you know how I said I had a date for the homecomingdance? Well, I canceled that one on Monday because it didn't feel right (hard to explain...Long story too). Anyway, one of my friends said that her roommate might be able to set me up with someone else. I didn't have my hopes up too high since the dance is on Saturday. Well, last night Randy Travis was doing a special concert at our school (10 bucks for students) and I got a floor seat! So I went to the concert (by myself ) and had a great time. It went from 7:30 to 9:15. Great stuff really! So afterwards I come back to my apartment/dorm (whatever you want to call it), set my stuff down and went to the tail end of scripture study. Afterwards my friend asks me if I've been to my place (I think that works better ^^). I thought she said hers so I said no. We went back to my place and I head to my room but she steers me to the kitchen. Suddenly I look up at the window and find this written on it: (My name), "window" to my heart, I would be honored if you'd go to the formal on Saturday with me (Kevin). I'll get back to you on the time. --Talk to ya later-- (I wrote this from the outside. Cool, huh?)

Needless to say I was totally surprised and speechless! No one has ever asked me out like that! *^^* It's a complete blind date. I havn't met him at all. My roommates met him when he wrote on the window. One says that he's really cute, but I not worried. My friend also says that he's sweet though a bit crazy. When she met him, he was holding all their kitchen knives in his hands and messing around. I was just very surprised and happy, and wanted to tell all of you about it. Oh!
