I just watched 2 movies, 1st was New York Minute, it was good I found it strange but good none the less and some parts were hilarious. The other was from the creaters of Ringu (The Ring was spawned from this Japanese movie) its called Ju-On, it was good. I guess The Grudge spawned from this because they are alike. Family dies curse is born yadda yadda woman makes exact strange sound and crawls down steps and boy with cat both making cat sounds blah blah blah a person sent there never comes back, another person gets sent there, yadda yadda an old hag, messy house, sliding doors, but there was some differences. ^__^ it didnt make me jump like The Grudge did. . . maybe cause I knew what would happen next. 
The boy looks alot like the one from The Grudge and they both make cat sounds. =^-^= meow but a bit more scary
