We Are.
Allow me to remind you all...of who we are.

Not Americans
Not citizens
Not ethnicities
Not colors or races

We are humans.

As humans we have the choices to do things. We have the right to be somone, to act like someone. We have the choice to kill thousands of people by ramming planes into buildings.

Or we have the choice to put our lives on the line for a greater good and to help people.

We can sit around and be angry with each other all day, hate each other and fight for absolutely no good reason other than the fact that we were angry, insulted, upset, hurt...and other emotions that go with hate.

Or we can forget about our feelings, and stop. We can think. We can do something that doesnt involv smacking a person, or shooting a person. We can help, we can forgive, we can move on, we can share, we can love, we can hug, laugh, and cry.

As humans I think we all have a responsibility. I think that responsibility should be to do the right thing. To not get angry and take out our emotions. To stand tall and say "I can forgive you".

...but most of us are not like that.

Allow me to challenge you all.

Allow me to offer you this thought:

When you are angry with someone, when you are mad....and angry and so enraged that you know you are going to explode and hurt someone in some kind of way. I challenge you to stop.

Stop and think of what your actions are. Stop and remember what its like to be hurt, to be hit, to be spit on. Remember losing someone, remember feeling the pain from what someone said to you...what someone did to you.

Remember that hurt and imagine how your actions will only be hurting someone else.
Stop, remember what its like...and dont pass that hurt on. Instead, smile...hug...listen...talk. Life is more than that one moment that you will take revenge...that you will hurt. Life is more than anger and strife.

My humans....my fellow humans. I know, that by default...no matter who you are...what you look like...or who your family is. I know that I love you. I respect you. I want to make you feel happy. Why? Because you, no matter who you are where you were born... you and I are the same. We bleed the same...we cry the same...we hurt...love...and rejoice the same.

We all share a common thing. We feel. We hurt. We laugh. We all love someone or something in our lives.

Humans....all of us need to stop fighting....stop hurting each other. We need to stand tall together and realize that life is more than anger.

...We all need to come together. We all need to be more than what we are.

I realize that this world is nowhere near perfect. I realize that there are going to be lots of people in this world who dont care...who waist life...and who only want to hurt others to fill a void in their lives.

I say live above it, and be a fellow human being. Once everyone sits down, stops, thinks, and understands....they will realize that they too love all humans simply for being humans.

We are a species driven by hate and anger. We long for more... we want everything we can to look good because we feel inferior. We want to be more than just flesh and bones. We want a status symbol.

Humans... you are not what you buy...you are not what you wear...you are not what you do. Lets all think about it logically. If you took everything away from a hollywood movie star...EVERYTHING and set them next to a person who lives in poverty, who also has been stripped of what they have you will notice that they are exactly the same.

Cut thier skin..they both bleed red. Pinch them they both cry. Hug them, and love them...they both laugh.

Humanity is more than skin deep, and I think we have forgotten that.

Humans....we can be evil...or we can be good. The right thing is NEVER...NEVER...NEVER...NEVER...NEVER easy to do. The right thing is hard...it is tough.... but it is so worth it, to lay your head down at night isnt it?

How many times have I hear the phrase "Who makes the rules on what is right and what is wrong?". Let me tell you something. WE do. Humans do. Our collection as a race does.

The only person who asks that question is someone who is ignorant. A two year old knows what is right and what is wrong. And if you are in doubt about right and wrong ask yourself the following questions before you do ANYTHING to ANYONE:

1) If someone did this to me...how would I feel?

...thats all you need to ask. And if you lie to yourself and say "I would have no problem with someone stabbing me for my wallet" You're a liar.

Too often have we forgotten the golden rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

...Humans....we are all the same, no matter where we are, who we are, what we are. Strip us all down to absolutely nothing and we are the same.

I ask you, humans. Start to do the right thing. Before you do somethins always ask that question: If someone did _______ to me...how would I feel?.

...Our race depends on it.

Humans, in all default, the second you were born, I loved you. Welcome to this world. I want to help you, I want to hug you. I want to make you happy.

All I ask in return is you do the same for me, and for others...and nothing ever more.

I dont expect you to share this....repost this or even comment. All I ask is that you remember it. For the sake of us as humans.
