hmmm
Finals went well I dominated and won! Woot! B's and one A. Hooraz!
Anways I wrote a letter to brooke hogan, and here is what it says. I'm sure she won't read it. But I SWEAR on my life that I will keep sending it to her until SHE responds to it.
Here it is:
Brooke,
You know... if you are serious about singing...that's great. But why do you have to tromp around wearing short, revealing clothes? Little girls our age look up to you. People from around the world look up to you. Couldn't you at least take the responsibility to look at yourself and realize that you are teaching them how to dress that way?
If you haven't noticed, (which I am pretty sure you haven't regardless of how smart I'm sure you are) pre-teens are now trying to dress older and wear more make up and act grown up. They get into bad things and do stuff they think they are old enough for. Can't you at least attempt to look semi-wholesome? Or at least look as though you condone actual real and logical ethics.
I realize that this is the music industry now, but you DO have the choice to make a difference in children. Money, fame, and riches mean absolutely NOTHING in this world except a status symbol. I'm sure you could be anything else you wanted to advance the human race and ethics instead of sitting around here wearing tight clothes and acting "sexy". People dress in the ways that you and other stars dress, can't you take some accountability for that?
I agree that parents should have first and full-most responsibility for their children, but parents cannot do the job alone. You yourself are an american icon, please at least think about the impact you are having on small girls and the young generation.
There is NO reason for you to tromp around the way you are. Sure money is nice, but not as nice as knowing you impacted someone in a positive way.
You are a beautiful girl Brooke, you dont exactly need to show you're a great person by jumping around in tight clothes and wearing make up. I understand that it is the fashion now to do that, but isn't it harder and more rewarding to step up above the socail line and say "I'm not going to be a robot".
...Take this as what you want. You must understand by no means is this an attack on you. I only want you to understand that you have a big impact on people. If you throw the skimpy clothes down and say you want to show girls about inner beauty, no you won't be famous. However, if you do as I have said, you will touch millions more people for your bravery in standing up to the record companies. I would respect you, and I know millions of people will too.
