I also wanted to mention... I'm really sorry if any of you were inconvinienced by the backlog the other day! I had been pretty absent from my house for a few days, and it wasn't until Sunday morning after waking up that I noticed all the hullabaloo. So sorry again! When I got here, there were over 400 pieces of fanart that needed approval. I only wish I could've gone through the wallpapers and ecards too, but I don't know how to detect theft with those at all, so I know I wouldn't be able to do a good job.

omg!
I feel so flattered! Someone *finally* tried to steal my art! XD Of course that'd never work here since I'm,you know,a MODERATOR,but it's nice to know someone thought it was good enough to steal XD Look! It was colored in MS Paint and everything! XD



In other news, my hellish week is over and I'm into spring break. So chaos,I can finally work on Windmill guy! :D Also, I think it's worth noting that I spilled milk on my laptop. Now, if it were a pc, it wouldn't be too much of a big deal. However, a laptop's vitals are underneath the keys and my comp has gone a little loopy. My k key doesn't work either (has to Ctrl + V every time XD;;) I don't mind it too much, but it's certainly inconvinient.

ON BRIEF HIATUS

I have an AP U.S. History paper to both research and write for the next few days -- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday -- As such, I won't be here during that time since I'll be pulling out my hair while working on this thing.

I can't rent out any books from the local library (there's some outstanding fines that I'd rather not pay etc.. XD)

Think I can finish in time? XD

I figured I was due for an update ;3

So! I hope everybody is doing well! I didn't have internet for the greater part of the week, but now it's back. I hope everyone who gets Casmir Pulaski day off had a nice day off last Monday. Me? I had a FOUR-day weekend =D We deserved it after not having President's Day.

By the way, is anyone else getting psyched for the Silent Hill movie? I've been getting so excited about it with a friend at school. We keeping looking up info and pictures during computer art XD It looks like it'll be pretty much the same as SH1, but it's going to have Pyramid Head from SH2 in it! <333 Those games scare the crap out of me. XDD

Hopefully I can get a picture or two up tonight. I still draw, but I've been staying away from photoshop to work with colored pencils and the like. I really should buy my own too. XD I nabbed some from my friend last year, and I probably have less than ten colors to work with (which is why things'll sort of look similar, I guess XDD;;)

Also, did I mention that I was like a foot away from Kevin Bacon a couple weeks back. On our Latin fieldtrip, he went to the same exhibit as us (Pompeii X3). He walked right next to our class too! I could've like, tripped him or something o_O Or...gotten his autograph XD but I was too suprised.

Pheeew. So, I got an N64 recently, and as you can see, myO's changed to facilitate my new interest. XD I *just* finished Ocarina of Time last night around midnight (and incidentally, my Link picture >_>;)

I hope everyone had a good two weeks or so. Mine were interesting (to me anyway XD). I'm doing much better in school this semester, maybe because I'm not taking a regular math class (I'm in Computer Science. If you suck at math, take this XD). That reminds me The week before Turnabout, people put money in jars for teachers that they want to kiss the pig at the Turnabout assembly, and he won! XD It was quite a show.

I've also started drawing things for people at school. Like, I get requests now, and even a couple bucks o_O It's not much, but it's nice to know that people offline like my stuff somewhat. I really think I've improved with colored pencils too. You guys mostly see my cg stuff, but I honestly haven't been doing that kind of work for a while now >_O

These first four paragraphs are about Drakengard 2. Just skip down if you don't want to read (though you should still click the link! XD)

I'm so psyched. Like really, really, really excited for the release of Drakengard 2 in the U.S. It's scheduled release is February 14, Valentine's Day. For about the last 2 months at LEAST, I've been fangirling over it and the first game too.

It's a bit suprising how unpopular it is, considering that it's a Square-Enix game. You'd figure the Final Fantasy fan-brats would be all over it. But Drakengard was a really different game, what with the giant baby killing, SLIGHT incestous tones, and baby-eating elf...

Drakengard 2 looks much much better though. I haven't played the game yet, but reviewers have even said it's better. You guys should really try giving it a shot. It's so lonely with no one to discuss with T^T

On to other business! It was Jigglyness' birthday today! I hope those of you that know her wished her a happy 16th! I drew her a little something for the occassion.

I'm really sorry I haven't been posting or commenting for the last two months or so. I've legitimate reasons this time! It was finals season, and I've really been trying to boost my grades. Also, my job as a waiter's been taking up my time. I've still been here nearly everyday for moderating (you might have seen a comment or two on the front page from me), but I didn't have enough time to go visit everyone as often as I did before. Right now's more of an off-season, so I'm a bit more free than before.

I've also developed a liking for Evangelion recently. I avoided it like the plague for years since it really didn't seem like my cuppa tea, but I gave it a download last week and I'm really enjoying it. I'm only at Episode 15, but I'm really liking all the little bits of Christian symbolism scattered throughout. It's really neat to talk about with my former Bible-Lit teacher.

Hello everyone! how's it been. Hasn't TheO been kinda funky lately. Not just the art submissions (omg repeat images EVERYWHERE) but the comment lag too. How troublesome >:(

On a happier note, I've started a new book! My English Literature class moves soooo slowly (we're still on Canterbury Tales wtf?)so I picked up Jane Eyre. I'm about a third into the book so far, and it's very good. I can totally relate the beginning (see above picture) to a friend of mine's situation. My only minor complaint is that there's a French character....who speaks French. I don't know a lick of French, but it's not SO bad since you can kinda guess what's she's talking about judging from the context. o_O

OMG, I have a job interview tomorrow. I just may become the newest waitress at the new retirement center in the town next door. That be really awesome if I got a job. YAY MONEY. Please wish me luck! ^_^

I've only had one job before, and it was the worst, most horrible, godawful job ever. Seriously. Never get a job making/serving food to people. I worked at this ice cream place in the mall, and it was absolutely unbearable. -_-;

And the way I quit just showed how little I cared for the job or any of my work-mates. I pulled an Office Space move and...just stopped going to work. I didn't say a damn thing. Honestly, I think that I'm a polite individual, and I try to treat strangers and friends alike with respect. HOWEVER, these people were terrible and I was glad to be rid of them.

XD that felt good to get off my chest.

And now for something completely different!
This brings back memories. I saw this THREE YEARS AGO, back when I first became acquainted with the internet. XD Very random.

Evil sheep! XO (seeee chaos, this is the kind of stuff you see in kkm, NOT a bunch of bl. XD)

whew long time no see right? Maybe? Yeah. I've been trying to stop by people's sites lately, so if you see me posting again, DON'T BE ALARMED. XD

Happy happy belated Halloween/All Saints' Day/ All Souls' Day! o_O; The Halloween holiday's not really my thang, I just can't seem to get in the spirit like others, though I'd like to note, I DID do some lineart for a Halloween pic (it's posted too ^0^), soooo teeny bit of spirit in me I guess. I'm just one of those winter/christmasy types I guess, right Chaos? *nudge*

But keeping to the Halloween topic, I went trick-or-treating with a friend as a the ghost of a Chinese rail worker (bed sheet + hat from Chinatown= costume XD). I'm not kidding when I say that my costume got a laugh from over 80% of the houses we visited, *especially* after I explained what I was. >>;

Pierre the French kid is gone. I miss him and his Frenchness ToT Although when we were at Six Flags I had him record some French into my phone. I'LL TREASURE IT ALWAYS!11 [/stalker] XDD;;;

Did I neglect to mention the horribly wrong thing I did today? YES. So I was modding around, approving fanart, and for some reason, there were like ten submissions of 1 piece of fanart (multiple cases of this so like, when there were 30 pics to approve, there were only 3 or 4). This happens *sometimes* and what you do is accept the first one and deny all the extras. I did that, but for some reason, it said I denied them ALL. >_O I found that out pretty quickly and gave it a rest, but still...weird. It's all better now though.


Btw, is there anyone that might be able to help me on a new layout for my site? Mine looks so lame, and I've been itching for a new theme since November anyway. If not, s'alright. I'll just keep it how it is. But if you'd like to help, and want to totally rock give me a PM or something. MAYBE.

I SWEAR I'll do a real update soon. Really. I've made rounds to your sites, so know that I'm still here! XD

I'm planning on going to Six Flags on Friday with some friends and one of the French exchange students that's over here. His names Pierre! Isn't that so awesomely cliche? I love it XD

Then I'm heading off to Chinatown on Sunday. Haven't been there in sooo long. Should be fun, as long as I don't eat the chicken *shudders at horrible HORRIBLE memories* XD

Soooo White Sox won, right? W00t for that, then (me being from Chicago, I think it's required XD). I'm not too much of a baseball fan, but back when I cared, I was actually a Sox fan. However, the rest of my family were big Cubs fans and were so hostile when it came to the Sox. So, I went "this isn't worth it," and just stopped paying attention to the sport altogether XD

OMG, I just started watching Kyou Kara Maou (see above image XD). That series is like crack. It's so addictive XD And honestly, it's not really my type of series (shoujo, bishounen, fantasy, etc..), but it's just so likeable. I'd really recommend to anyone, even guys, despite the *cough* BL implications (it really doesn't go *anywhere*, even after 30+ episodes)XD I think it's from the same studio as Fruits Basket =O

It looks like this turned into a real post after all! Would you look at that? XD
