blackout
hey wats new? today was different to say the least. me and my gf made a bet that we would not be sarcastic for the entire day of school...wooh boy that was harder than i thot! i almost slipped a couple of times...and i think i did once but i am not gonna say it unless kate asks me or sumthing. but it was really hard not to say anything sarcastic...i am not like super sarcastic but sarcasm is a part of me...but my gf on the other hand she is sarcasm...lol. its a lil inside joke.
well i found this lil parodox thing...if you want to read it go ahead. its pretty cool...i have a movie to go see at my church..so ill seeya have fun reading this. later.
Hotel Infinity
Suppose that, somewhere in New Jersey, there is a hotel with an infinite number of rooms. You arrive late one night and ask the front desk clerk if they have a vacancy. He replies that every room is occupied, however, he can arrange for you to get one. But how, you wonder, if there is no vacancy? The answer is simple: the clerk will simply ask the people in room 1 to move to room 2, those in room 2 to move to room 3, those in 3 to move to room 4, and so on. Since there is an infinite number of rooms, everyone will have a room to move into, and room 1 will be available for you.
Hotel Infinity is an amazing place, you think to yourself as you sign in. But just as the clerk is about to give you your key, an infinite number of people arrive for an APA convention. The clerk cleverly figured out how to get you a room, but can he accommodate an additional infinity of guests? Amazingly, he can. He just asks everyone to move again, but this time to the room number that is twice the number of their current room. In other words, you would move to room 2, the people in 2 would move to 4, those in 3 to 6, those in 4 to 8, and so on. This will leave all odd numbered rooms — an infinite number of them — vacant.
This paradox illustrates an unusual property of infinite sets. With finite sets, a (proper) subset will always contain fewer members than the entire set. A part is smaller than the whole. But with infinite sets that is not the case: one part of the set can be just as large as the whole. For example, there are as many even numbers as there are natural numbers, even though the natural numbers contain all the even numbers plus the odd ones as well. This can be seen by pairing the natural numbers with the even numbers to show that there is a one-to-one correspondence between the two sets:

Likewise, even though only some numbers are perfect squares (1, 4, 9, 16, 25, ...), and the distance between each perfect square becomes greater and greater as we progress down the number line, there are as many perfect squares as there are natural numbers. For each natural number is the square root of exactly one perfect square. (This is sometimes known as Galileo's Paradox, as it was first pointed out by the famous Italian physicist and astronomer.)
A variation on hotel infinity results in an interesting Zeno-style paradox. Contrary to what might first be supposed, the hotel doesn't have to occupy an infinite space. Suppose the hotel has one room per story. If each room is half the height of the one below, then the entire structure will be only as tall as a two-story building. But if that's the case, then it should have a roof on top. And if it has a roof, then, as any reputable architect can point out, the other side of it ought to be the ceiling over some room. However, what room will that be, given that the hotel has an infinite number of them and therefore no top story?

this is the first and last time
hey wats new? i woke up today around 1:30 pm..hehe. after i had breakfast i watched Mtv2 rock...the only thing good on.
today it is starting to dry out..the sun is coming out and it stopped raining. so thats all good. i had to get water outta the basement of one of my dad's apartment buildings....it was flooding like mad.

rain, rain go away
hey! wel today was kinda crazy...it has been raining all weekend and it has been flooding since like last night. it is pretty crazy....the main road was blocked off in spots cuz of floating debris and excess water. church was delay until 3pm...how bout that? crazy...huh.
i posted the new single from lifehouse...they are one of my favorite bands from way back, when i was first introduced to alternative rock...them and 3 doors down. but i liked that song alot when i first heard it and saw that they came out with a new album. its a really good song and i can relate.
well ill go check out sum syts...i havent in a long time. sorry about that...later.

some rules are made with the intentions to break
hey i just got back from my frends! we had a good time...a bunch of guys came over...we played video games and ate food...watched sum tv and sum cartoons on DVD.
he got this sweet present from his dad...a mini iPod...i was even jealous! it was hott man...seriously. uhh watelse...? i dunno...we stayed up pretty darn late last night...yawn still kinda tired about that. and we had a rude awakening....to this stupid loud annoying alarm clock at like 8 in the morning...ugh.
basically it was just a fun time.
my gf was thinkin about coming over with her best frend...but they were doing sumthing like baby sitting or sumthing. i havent talked to her yet so i dunno yet. but i was like lookin' every 10 seconds for them...i was all jumpy...but they never showed. but its ok...ill deal, i know she was busy. i still missed her.
well uhh thats it from me...my bro wants the comp, later.

hey wats up! today is april fool's day...i was gonna prank you all and tell you that sumthing happened to me..but i dont have the time...tomorrow is my best frends birthday..and he is gonna have a party. so im going over to his house tonight. he is turning 18....sweet huh? sum of you might no him...Twilight Guardian. he is my best frend.
so i did have time to change my background and change the theme a lil so hope you liked it...later, i g2g.
