hello
i wrote a poem today to post on here! tell me if you all like it or not! i'm all ears!

My Shadow

I can't stop thinking about you
I feel you taking over me
You're painted in my memories
You're my shadow that I can't see
Sleeping soundly
Walking with you
In the depths of darkness

All of everything that we've gone
through
Stabbing my heart until I'm numb
We made it far enough
Yet you went away
Let the rain pour down on my
sorrow

I keep on praying for you
Please come back to me
If you can't
Go peacefully
I keep on praying for your shadow
to go away
To quit putting me in the darkness
