	stararnold (12/28/07) Regarding what you said about my "Gundam Vs. macross" e-card from yesterday, you're right to say that the robot with the "macross" label looked like something from a "Robotech" video game, but that's only because "Robotech" (which depicts an alternate version of the "Macross" saga) borrows mecha/ship/character designs from the first "Macross" T.V. series. In fact, the first 36 episodes of the "robotech" T.V. series borrowed footage from the anime itself. As for your favorite anime list, "Pokemon" does count as anime since it's Japan-made, but "Avatar: Last Airbender" doesn't count as anime because it's made in the U.S., and normally we say "anime-esque" describe any non-Japanese animated feature whose art is anime-inspired. But it's true that some people made different uses on words "anime" and "manga", tempting to refer to anything Japan-styled art (for ex: saying "U.S. Manga" to refer to American comics whose art is similar to that of anime/manga), but I only say "anime" for Japanese-made animated works and "manga" for Japanese-made comics.
