   St. Patrick's Day
Happy St. Patrick Day!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Here's some green so you can't pinch my site. Clover by CLAMP.
------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, I got the 3rd DVD of R.O.D. TV. Many flashbacks to the past and an unveiling of the evil plot of the bad guys. I noticed the quality of the show has gotten worse. I saw pixels here and there. Oh well, my love of the series can overcome some squares of color.

Here's a quiz I took on weapons. Katanas are nice. ;)

Your weapon is a Katana!
Katana! Traditional japanese sword! Sharp and fast,
you can kill very efficiently and very
elegantly with this weapon.

   It's an okay day.
Today is pretty standard in my life. Nothing to out of there happening.

Here's a quiz I took. The pic is pretty but the description is not all that accurate about me.

   1st Day of Sring Break!!!
Yes!!! The first day of Spring Break in Texas, but it still sucks that I have homework to do...

I just downloaded the opening song of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. It's great!! Right now it's on a constant loop. I love the anime too.

Today I learned the fear of clowns is called coulrophobia. People are afraid of clowns for many reasons. It could be that they saw the movie "It" by Stephen King. Or had a tramatic experience with them.
For example: "A few years ago, I was walking through the Midway, scared out of my poo, when a clown came up to me and offered me his arm to escort me to the end. I reluctantly took his arm and proceeded down the way, passing all of the games. When we reached the end, the clown reached out his arms for a hug. I, again, reluctantly swallowed my fear (which was not as bad then) and gave him a hug. However, to my horror, the clown made a perverted moaning sound while hugging me! That experienced has haunted me ever since."

I guess they are scary, but personally I don't see the fear except that they're weird.

   Finally!
Finally done with all my test and my english homework. I hate having to do creative writing for english...

Anyway, here's a quiz that I took that is from the manga Clover by CLAMP.

What Anime Clover Are You?
Hosted by theOtaku.com: Anime. Done right.

I've read only the first book out of 4, but the artwork is still very beautiful.
------------------------------------------------

I have the 2nd DVD of the R.O.D. the TV series. The plot becomes very different from the 1st, but I still enjoyed it very much. Some parts of it were hilarious with all of its sexual inuendos in the extras of the DVD. Some parts of it did make me cry (damn my sympathetic heart!). But overall it gave me a sappy warm feeling in me.

All of it was nice until I saw the commentary. That SUCK!!! I finally found out that the voice actors were really annoying! I feel like it spoiled the whole thing for me. Never watch commentaries of R.O.D. TV unless you like bullshit on a platter.

   Another day...
I'm gonna add this post before I have to study for the 3 tests I have tomorrow. Not much to say though...

If you're bored I suppose you can check out animemusicvideos.org on the web. It's a site where (un)talented people make create music videos using clips from various anime.

The only way to really take advantage of the site is to make an account and then wait 2 weeks before you can download the videos. It sucks, I know. But getting to download cool videos online is worth the wait.

I don't recommend trying to download videos when you have dial-up though. You'll probably wait up to 4 hours just to download 1 video.
-----------------------------------------------------------

Here's a quiz that I just took too. Never saw this anime, but the anime music videos of it seem pretty funny.

   R.O.D. the TV series
Well I watched the infamous R.O.D. TV. Like the OVA, the fast fighting paper motif is still the same, but with different characters.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

R.O.D. starts out with Nenene, who was best friends with Yomiko, flying to Hong Kong for a book signing of her best-selling novel that she wrote years back. When her guide takes her to her hotel, the room that she was going to stay in blows up, and the sponsors want to cancel her signing because they're afraid terrible things will happen. But Nenene insists that the book signing go on as planned. So she goes to stay with her guide, who happens to be one of three sisters who love reading, and like her book (although some hate it). She shows up for the signing, and there we are treated to a crazy ROD action sequence, complete with magic paper action! Because of course, the sisters are paper master like Yomiko, and aren't your normal "guides". In fact, they end up (for reasons I will not describe so you can enjoy the first eps. more) flying back to Japan with her, and becoming her bodyguards.

I'm very partial to Anita. I love her mature attitude even though she's the youngest of the trio. Maggie is the middle child and is tall, lanky, and slow(physically wise, not mentally), but she's like Hana from Fruits Baskets. Always supportive of her sisters. Michelle is the oldest and the semi-stereotypical blonde. She makes up strange plans that would never work in a million years, but somehow work anyway. weird....

It's a great anime and pretty funny too. Like when Anita tries to fix Nenene TV with super glue. Hopefully I can get the rest of the DVD's by the end of this week...
