I'm back!
I'm finally back. March 15th was my last post. Time flies when your busy. During Spring Break I went with my friends Ailah Wolf, and Ghost Xi to Gatlinburg. While we were there, we all got airbrushed shirts made with our favorite anime characters. Ghost Xi's was Pegasus, Ailah's was Hakkai from Saiyuki, and mine's (of course) is Kaiba.
Then, I got sick for a week and had a ton of make-up work to do. Then, I got sick for another week, and had even more homework to do. Then came testing. In my state, we have to take a test called CATS to see how our schools measure up. The juniors have the hardest, and since I'm one, I had testing for two weeks. We also had things called Academy Days. Academy Days reviewed the subject you were being tested on. That's finally over and so is all my make-up work. Now, the only thing coming up is summer break.
My new fan art I did over the last three months.
I've started up a blog for Lisa herself. It's almost finished so go ahead and have a look around.(Click on the link.)
It's late, so I better be going. Sleepy! Dewa mata!

Happy White Day!
Hey guys! Happy White Day! I've been looking forward to this holiday for a really long time. Mostly, because it's like my own personal special day. Only me and Ghost Xi were the ones celebrating it at school. We drew each other's characters with the guys we love in YGO. I don't think the drawing of Gabriella and Pegasus turned out all that good.
Anyways, if you don't know what White Day here's something that I got from About. com:
St. Valentine's Day in Japan is a day when women give the special men in their lives boxes of chocolate. To balance out the one-sidedness of this practice, White Day was invented for men to reciprocate such gifts. While Valentine's Day is an imported convention, White Day (on March 14) is a purely Japanese creation.
Just as with the giving of chocolates on Valentine's, the driving force behind the popularization of White Day was a confectionery maker. A company making marshmallows launched a campaign in 1965 urging men to repay valentine gifts with soft, fluffy marshmallows. The name White Day comes from the color of the candy, and at first it was called Marshmallow Day.
When chocolatiers saw the opportunity to expand their business, they began marketing white chocolates, and other candy makers soon jumped on the bandwagon. Gradually, the original association with marshmallows disappeared; today, men no longer limit their purchases to confections, giving women handkerchiefs, accessories, and other gifts.
According to a survey conducted by a Tokyo department store in 1996, the White Day gift that made women happiest was flowers accompanied by a greeting card - regardless of whether the chocolates given a month earlier were for their honmei (true sweethearts) or to fulfill their giri (obligation) to classmates or colleagues.
Plus, for the last five days, I've been writing a story about Seto and Lisa and their eventful White Day. Enjoy!
Don’t Be Blue, its White Day!
Lisa shifted uncomfortably in her desk, trying to move around in the heavy pink jacket. Even after being at Domino High School for almost a year, she still was not used to the standard pink and blue uniform.
Lisa had lived in the United States for the last past six years, and before that, in an orphanage; she wasn’t used to the frigid rules of the real world in Japan.
The rules weren’t the only thing that confused her. Holidays for instance, were just as mind-boggling. Japan has two holidays like the U.S. Valentine’s Day: Their version of Valentine’s Day- Feb. 14th (where women give men they like to have as a boyfriend special chocolate called honmei-choko, and gave obligation chocolate or giri-choko, to male family and friends) and White Day-March 14th , (the holiday where men gave presents to women).
Lisa had given chocolate bars to all her guy friends: Yugi, Joey, Tristan, and Bakura. It was good chocolate. So good, it melted in Bakura’s hand. Unfortunately, before he knew it, he had smoothed down his hair, turning the back of his snow white hair into a dingy egg-shell color for the rest of the day.
Valentine’s Day was a good day, hilarious even due to Bakura’s color-changing hair. The problem was, though, Lisa had made some very special chocolate for Kaiba (Lisa’s boyfriend. She lives with him and his brother Mokuba) and she wasn’t sure if it was the right thing to do. In fact, Lisa wasn’t even sure if he was even her boyfriend. They had kissed once before, only to comfort her when she was frightened.
To surprise him, Lisa left in on his desk. A few days later, she found the paper she had wrapped it in thrown away in the trash can of his office. What really hurt is the fact he hadn’t said he liked it or even a thank you. Did he even know she had made it just for him? He probably didn’t even care. Lisa sighed and hoped White Day would be better than Valentine’s Day. ‘But,’ she thought to herself, ‘at least I don’t have to spend it alone.’
Lisa jumped and lost her train of thought as Tristan sat down and mumbled something that sounded like “Stupid lucky dog…” Lisa thought it would be best to leave Tristan to his quiet ramblings.
A few seconds later, Joey came in and slammed a fist into a nearby desk. “I can’t believe that guy! Who said he could go out with my sister?!”
This was new to Lisa. “Who?” she asked.
“Duke Devilin! He asked Serenity to go to a movie with him on White Day!” Joey said, his anger rising.
“Why would Serenity want go with him?” Lisa asked.
“Good question…” Tristan said. “If you ask me, he wants more than just a movie...”
“If he lays one finger on my sister, I’ll rearrange his face. That skirt chaser…” Joey declared.
Téa and Yugi arrived, both confused at why both Tristan and Joey were mad, until Lisa explained.
“Well, Joey, if you’re worried that much, tell Serenity no to go,” Téa said.
“I can’t do that, it’d be controlling her life too much,” Joey said.
“Then go with them,” Yugi suggested.
“I think Duke might get insulted if Joey does that. Maybe someone could just happen to be there,” Lisa said.
“Hey! That’s a great idea, Lis. But who could go instead of me?” Joey exclaimed.
“It wouldn’t look so bad if they had a date...” Yugi trailed off. Everyone looked at Lisa.
“Why me?” Oblivious to why she should be the one to go.
“Well, you’re the only one going out with someone,” Téa said.
“And, besides, all you have to do is sweet talk Kaiba and he’s melted butter in your hands,” Joey said. “Please? I’ll be your best friend…”
“You’re already my best friend. And anyways, Seto’s not much of a going-on-a-date person,” Lisa said.
“Have you ever asked him?” Yugi asked.
“No…but, Seto doesn’t like to leave the Corporation,” Lisa said, “but, I guess I could try…”
“Thanks, Lis. I owe you one,” Joey said.
“Your welcome,” Lisa said and then thought to herself, ‘I hope Seto’s in a movie mood…’
Lisa threw her book bag on the green sofa in Kaiba’s home office. Smiling, she walked up behind him and wrapped her arms around his neck. “Hi, honey…” she said, sweetly.
“Hi, yourself,” Kaiba said and pecked Lisa on her temple. “So, what do you want?”
“Nothing…” Lisa lied. “Can’t I just come and visit you?”
“Usually, you only come in here to draw,” Kaiba said. “So, what is it? Tell me…” Lisa sat on the arm on the sofa, and started picking at its fabric.
“Well?” Kaiba said.
Lisa started to blush. “It’s about White Day…” she began.
“And?” Kaiba said, his face falling a little.
“And, I wanted to know…if…you’d want to…do anything…like going on a date…” she stammered.
Kaiba shook his head. “I can’t. I’ve got a corporation to run…”
Lisa got up and sat on Kaiba’s lap. “Please? We never go anywhere, or do anything together.”
“I know we don’t, but that’s all part of being president. Now get up, I have to get back to Kaiba Corp.”
Lisa groaned. “Don’t tell me you have to work late again…”
“I have to. It’s all part of--” Kaiba said, but was cut-off by Lisa.
“Being a president. I know! That’s all you say! That’s your excuse for everything! Some boyfriend you are!”
Kaiba remained silent, not sure what to say.
“I’m not sure if you even like me! You could be going out with me just for my Baby Blue Eyes card! And we’ve only kissed once, and that was to shut me up! All you do is play with my emotions and peck me on the cheek or isolate yourself at Kaiba Corp.!”
Kaiba, a little hurt from Lisa’s outburst, replied, “Well, then maybe you should get a different boyfriend…”
“I will! And he’ll treat me ten times better than you ever did!”
“Then do it…I don’t care,” Kaiba said, walking out of the office, closing the door behind him.
“Fine, jerk!” Lisa yelled at the closed door. She halved-hoped that he would come back through the door. When Lisa saw he didn’t, tears ran from Lisa’s eyes and she ran to her room, collapsing on her bed.
Lisa deftly touched the card-shaped locket around her neck. Kaiba had given it to her when she first started living with him. In it, there was a picture of her, Kaiba, and Mokuba when they where in the orphanage on the left side. On the right side, was a heart Lisa drew with “I love Seto” in it.
Frowning, Lisa took it off and threw it on the bedside table. For the rest of the night, she talked to no one.
The next day, Lisa refused to speak to anyone still, except to Mokuba, in Kaiba Manor. She was a little sheepish from the way she acted the night before, but she still stood firm on what she said. The truth was, asking Kaiba to go on a date just wasn’t about just to watch Serenity, but she wanted to actually spend some time alone with him.
At school, Lisa opened her shoe closet to find a letter inside of it. Hoping it would be from Kaiba, Lisa tore it open and began to read it:
Dearest Lisa,
I know you’ve told me no a thousands times before, but before you refuse me again, hear me out.
I’ve loved you since the first day I met you. No matter how many times you reject me, I can’t stop thinking about you.
Your eyes are like the Sapphire Scarab beetle, and your hair is more golden than the wings of the common butterfly.
I know you’ll never renounce your “love” for Kaiba, but give me one more chance: Go out with me on White Day.
Love always,
Weevil Underwood
Lisa rolled her eyes and shoved Underwood’s letter back into its envelope. Lisa glanced at the picture of Seto and Mokuba hanging in the back of her shoe closet, then looked down at the envelope and studied it. Having an idea, she slammed her shoe closet door shut, and went to talk to Underwood.
Kaiba knocked on the door, hoping Lisa hadn’t left for school yet. Not hearing an answer, he let himself in.
Inside Lisa’s room was her unmade queen canopy bed, her dresser, a desk and drawings of Kaiba, Mokuba, her friends, and Baby Blue Eyes plastered on the walls.
Noticing something shining on her bed-side table, he walked to it. It was Lisa’s locket from the night before. ‘Lisa never goes anywhere without this…’ he thought to himself as he opened it up. Kaiba traced along the edge of the heart with “I love Seto” in it. ‘I guess this time it really must be over…”
Kaiba and Lisa had argued before, many times, but they always made up the next day .Lisa never took her locket off; it was her most prized possession. It was exactly like Mokuba’s and his , and he had given it to Lisa to make her feel like part of the family.
Kaiba sat down on Lisa’s bed and held his head in his hands.
Lisa twirled around in front of the mirror, checking her to make sure her outfit gave her the sexiness she needed. She was wearing Kaiba’s favorite outfit of hers: a black pleated skirt that came two inches above her knee and a baby t-shirt with Battle City (the name of Kaiba’s upcoming Duel Monsters competition) written in white across the chest. Black high heels added 2” to her already 5’9” height.
After three days of planning, White Day was finally here. Lisa planned to make Kaiba jealous by going out with Underwood. After seeing her dressed-up and actually going out with someone else, he’d die of jealousy and prove his love to her, promising to change his ways forever.
Lisa decided she was ready after spraying herself with some perfume. Before, going down the staircase, she smoothed her hair down and adjusted her skirt one last time.
Kaiba watched Lisa come down the staircase. In his eyes, she was beautiful enough to be a queen. Kaiba glanced at Underwood, who had been waiting for Lisa, and shook his head. A few days before when Kaiba had sat alone in Lisa’s bedroom, he decided that Lisa may be better off without him. She deserved a guy who could give her his spare time and be there for her. With his upcoming tournament, he knew she would have to spend some nights alone without him. ‘It’s better this way,’ Kaiba thought to himself, ‘even if her date is two years younger than her and a bad duelist…’
Lisa, doing her best to ignore Kaiba, smiled sweetly at Underwood. “Hello, Weevil, dear… it’s been a while since I last saw you.”
“I’m glad you came to your senses, Lisa. It’s time you had a normal boyfriend, and,” adds Underwood, “you look very beautiful tonight…”
“Thanks,” Lisa said, turning to Kaiba, she said, “Well, Seto, I’m going…”
“I hope you have a good time, and Lisa, make sure your quiet when you come home tonight. I’m going to bed early,” Kaiba said.
Lisa’s smile faded. “C’mon, Weevil, let’s go,” she said, letting herself out of Kaiba Manor. Underwood followed behind her.
Kaiba rubbed his eyes, closed his laptop and glanced at the clock. It was 8:00 p.m., and hour since Lis had left. Mokuba, who noticed Kaiba staring at the clock, said, “Why don’t you tell her you still like her?”
“Lisa wasn’t happy with me, so she got a new boyfriend. She got what she deserved, end of story,” Kaiba said.
“I don’t know. She didn’t look all that happy to me…”
Before Kaiba could reply, the phone rang. “Kaiba…”he answered.
“Hello to you, too, Mr. Sunshine,” Joey answered back.
“Wheeler, what are you doing calling my house?”
“To tell Lisa that Serenity’s already left. I’m glad I called you guys before you left too.”
“Lisa’s already left,” Kaiba said.
“But I thought she was going with you…” Joey trailed off.
“No, she went with Weevil Underwood,” Kaiba said.
“Underwood? But she hates him! Why would Lisa want to go out with him?”
“We had an argument and she said she wanted a new boyfriend.”
“And I thought you were a genius, Kaiba. Couldn’t you tell that she was trying to make you jealous?” Joey asked.
“You mean she still wants to be with me?!” Kaiba exclaimed.
Joey laughed into the phone. “You’re the only thing she talks about. I know so much about you, it’s like I’m the one that lives with you.”
“Thankfully, you don’t. Now which movie theatre is Lisa going to?” Kaiba asked.
“Domino City Cinema 5,” Joey answered.
Kaiba hung up on him, and then dialed his driver to get the limo ready.
“Oh, Roderick, nothing could ever keep me from you…” droned the movie that Lisa now sat bored and watched. Serenity and Duke chose this movie, which, because of her promise to Joey, Lisa dragged herself into it.
Now she sat silently, thinking to herself. She missed Kaiba, and wished it was him instead of Geeky Underwood that sat beside her. The image of their one and only kiss kept running through her mind. ‘Even though it was one time,’ Lisa thought, ‘he put his whole soul into it… Maybe I was wrong about him not caring.’
The only thing that made her happy tonight was throwing an occasional jawbreaker at Duke when he got too touchy-feely with Serenity. Lisa ducked down every time an angry Duke threatened to report whoever was hitting him with candy to the usher.
Duke and Serenity hadn’t seen Lisa and Underwood come into the theatre. In spite of having an excuse that she was on a date, Lisa still wanted Underwood and herself to sit three rows behind them in the back.
“I get it. In case, we get bored with the movie, we can keep ourselves busy in other ways…” Underwood agreed with Lisa’s suggestion.
“Maybe,” Lisa lied, but actually thought ‘Touch me and you’ll know how a bug feels when it’s squashed.’
Lisa was about to throw another jawbreaker at Duke (this time he put his arm around her) the usher tapped Lisa on the shoulder. “Ma’am, there’s someone here to see you. He says it’s important.” Lisa told Underwood she’d be back and followed the usher to the lobby finding Kaiba waiting for her. “Seto…” Lisa said softly. “What are you doing here?”
“You can’t keep going out with Underwood. You don’t love him,” Kaiba said.
“I know I don’t, and I’m sorry for getting so mad the other night. I know it’s hard to run a corporation. It takes everything you’ve got, even your spare time, to keep it running,” Lisa said, looking down at the floor.
“Lisa, people don’t get angry just for any reason at all, something has to set them off,” Kaiba said, tilting her chin up. “I do spend too much time at Kaiba Corp, even with Battle City coming up.” He drew Lisa closer then added, “I love you…”
Lisa, with tears in her eyes, looked up at Kaiba and said, “If you love me, why haven’t you said it before? You didn’t even say thank-you for the chocolate I gave you.”
“I didn’t know that chocolate was from you. I thought it was from one of the servants. And the reason I haven’t said I loved you before, is that, I didn’t know how much I did love you until I saw you with another guy. I love you, with all my heart and soul,” Kaiba said.
“You know what? I love you, too,” Lisa whispered. Kaiba smiled and kissed Lisa passionately. Lisa felt her legs start to feel shaky and had to grip Kaiba’s back harder. His lips were sweeter than anything she had ever tasted before; it made her feel light and woozy all at once.
Just then, the theatre was releasing the crowd of people that were still inside its walls. Underwood coming out of the theatre saw Lisa and Kaiba still kissing. “Lisa, what’re you doing?” he asked, confused.
“Kissing my boyfriend. Look I’m sorry, Weevil. I don’t think it could work out between us…” Lisa said.
“That’s alright, Lisa. I’ll still be here when you get out of denial,” Underwood said and left.
Lisa laughed. “I don’t think he’ll ever get a clue.” Kaiba shook his head and kissed her again.
Coming home in the limo. Lisa snuggled against Kaiba’s chest, explaining to him how the whole “date thing” came up. “Did it work?” Kaiba asked.
“Yeah, but I had to throw jawbreakers at him to get him to keep to keep his hands off Serenity,” Lisa said.
Kaiba laughed. “Looks like you had an interesting night.”
“Yeah. Too bad it’s almost over…”
“Which reminds me, I better give you this before it’s too late,” Kaiba said, pulling a small, rectangular box out of his inside coat pocket. “Happy White Day.”
Lisa opened the box to find a beautiful 24k diamond tennis bracelet. “Oh, Seto, it’s beautiful. Thank you.”
“Your welcome, Lisa,” Kaiba said, holding Lisa closer to him.
The next day, Duke came to school rubbing his head. Joey, knowing what happened, stifled a laugh and asked Duke how his date with Serenity went.
“Not too good,” Duke said. “Some kid kept throwing jawbreakers at me. I’m not sure, but it looked like Underwood was doing it…And besides, Serenity said I was a good friend for taking her out when no one else was.”
“That’s too bad, Duke…Better luck next time!” Tristan lied.
“How’d you make it with Kaiba last night, Lisa? You still mad at each other?” Joey asked.
“No,” Lisa said. “It was just a big misunderstanding. And look what he gave me last night.” Lisa pulled the sleeve of her jacket up, showing her bracelet.
“Wow, that’s gorgeous, Lisa,” Téa said.
“So what’s next for the future Mrs. Kaiba?” Joey asked, teasingly.
Lisa blushed. “I don’t know about that, but I hopefully I don’t get jawbreakers thrown at me!” Everyone laughed, except Duke, who still didn’t know it was Lisa who had thrown the jawbreakers.
Across town at Kaiba Corp., Kaiba looked at Lisa’s picture on his desk and smiled. This morning, Lisa had started wearing her locket again. Opening his, Kaiba traced along the picture of him, Mokuba, and Lisa. Someday he knew that all three of them would be family by law.
Kaiba’s mind jerked back to the present and focused on a cluttered computer screen. Closing his locket, he began to get back to work, trying to get off work early.
Let me know how you guys liked it. ^^ Tomorrow, I stay after school to take a science test and Wensday I go on an art field trip.

My First Fan Art Submission
I submitted my first fan art! But it's in queue to reviewed. Okay, here's the story behind it:
Today, we had Ghost Xi's surprise 16th birthday party at Sakura69 and craftuser9's house. It was so awesome. She was at an art club meeting, and while she was there, we decorated their house. We ate pizza, cake, and icing till we got on a sugar high. While Rave, musicisonlyme, lilendsphinx, and Sakura69 played cards me, Ailah, Ghost Xi, sorrowinds, craftuser9 and her boyfriend sat around and did nothing. So, I got bored and started to draw this really cool pic of Kaiba. (It used to be my avatar.) It turned out really good to be done in like, 15 minutes. I'm not real sure about the time.
Everyone wish Ghost Xi a happy 16th birthday on the 21st!
Today we had a pep rally, and I did ghetto Taebo to the music. I'm serious, I did. We got out at 2:00 today.
I've been working on my White Day story like non-stop, so I can get it written, typed, and drawn by the 14th.
Well, better get back to work. Let me know how you like my fanart!

Hey!
Hey, people. I'm not so hyper tonight. In fact, I'm sort of down. Two of my friends, Ailah Wolf and musicisonlyme are fighting. I don't know if they made up yet.
Plus, there's some stuff going on in my family I really don't want to talk about. It's been going on for quite some time.
In happier news, I'm going on an art field trip Wensday. I can't wait! This is my first high school field trip, and this is my junior year! Aye carumba!
I know people are tired of me yakking about Yu-Gi-Oh! but I only want to ask one question: When does Kaiba wear the white suit and tie? I hate being a new fan.
Can't wait to draw Seto and Lisa. If I draw Lisa, that'll be the very first character of my own that I have drawn. That's why I guess I'm so eager to do it.
Have a great Friday people!

Hyper!
Sebastian the Friendly Dolphin! He, he, he. Ignore my hyperness.
Anyways, I'm still working on my White Day story. Ghost Xi knows who the guy is, but nobody else does. Ghost Xi and Ailah Wolf have read what I have so far, but I might not let them read the draft and spoil the surprise.
I loved tonight's episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! It was so sweet, Seto almost cried...Then stupid Noah turned into stupid Shinato and turned Mokuba and Seto into stone. Errr...!! I have to get the last three episodes on DVD. I'm happy because I guessed Seto's strategy when he picked Kaiser Sea Horse as his deckmaster. I was flipping through my Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG deck a couple of nights and I found Kaiser Sea Horse. So, I knew that he could use KSH and only sacrifice one monster to summon a Light monster, which is what Blue Eyes is. I'm starting to outgrow my rookie-ness!
Camp Yu-Gi-Oh! might be posted the week before the last week of March or on it. I'm only on Entry 2, but it's long. Yeesh....
I haven't really decided on what pose Seto and Lisa should do...they're not going to be chibi-ish. I think they're just going to be cuddly-ish. Hugging and smiling at each other.... that sort of thing. It's more like them.
My school lets out at 2:00 on Friday due to a basketball game. So, yayz!
This has been the longest post so far. It's like a record for me, plus I've been to everybody's sites.

Sleepy....
Hiez, people. I'm feeling kind of tired tonight due to lack of sleep for the last couple of days, and all this make-up work I have to do since I missed almost all of last week. Ugghhh..
On a happier note, I'm starting my White Day project, which is a story I'm writing and a drawing I'm doing of Lisa and Seto. I don't think I'm going to do it chibi-style. In fact, I don't know what they should be doing...(minds out of the gutter!) I've thought about having them dance to a music box, but that seems generic. Maybe as I write my story, a better idea will come up.
Speaking of which, it's about White Day, the second Valentine's Day in Japan. Basically, Lisa goes on a date with someone, and Seto gets mad. I'm telling who it is though ;)

Lucky 100!
My site has been visited 100 times today! Yay!!
I've come up with a new story, one entry a day for thirteen days. It's called Camp Yu-Gi-Oh!. I know it sounds a little corny, but I promise it's going to be as funny and as good (hopefully *crosses fingers*) as my RP with Ghost Xi. It's about a new Yu-Gi-Oh otaku who is asked to come to Camp Yu-Gi-Oh! by her friend, Lula-Chan. By the end of the tenth day, she has to play a baseball, not as herself but as Yugi. Camp Yu-Gi-Oh! is sort of like a summer camp, but it's Yu-Gi-Oh! It's got the whole Camp Counselors and awards. It's weird, but that's what I'm going for. Weirdness.
I've been out of school since Tuesday because I'm sick. And by the way it looks, I don't have to go back until Monday!

Hey!
Heyz, people! It seems everyone is feeling crappy today. Ghost Xi, Ailah, and another friend of mine. Ghost Xi is sad because her bf was going to kill himself. After you read this, drop by her site to see if you can help cheer her up.
I submitted a greeting but it had to be approved. (And it was really cool, too.) It's of T'ea and Yugi. The pic is one I had to scan off from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist, the manga series.
Anywho, I've been sick for the last couple of nights. So, I haven't been feeling all that well.
I hope there's no school tomorrow. All the roads are covered in snow. I don't feel like going back anyway...
I'm in a really strange mood to draw...It makes me feel better. So, does Kaiba. Maybe I can find a new pic of him...hmmmm.......
Like my new puppy? It's name is Seto. I adopted from the same place that Ghost Xi adopted hers. Enjoy!

New Theme
Heyz everyone! Like my new theme? Ghost Xi helped me lay it out, but I found the pics.
I went to my brother's today to watch the Daytona 500. Dale Jr. came in 3rd ^^
I have to draw 3 of Ailah Wolf's RPG characters for her. They're going to be so fun to draw!
I have a lot of homework tomorrow, so I'm really not looking forward to it.
Congrats to Ghost Xi! Happy 1000!
