Leaving for New York tomorrow. We're only staying til Sunday afternoon, but its still gonna be fun. Camp has been going well lately. My horse took off on Tuesday. She was going as fast as I've ever gone on a horse. Catherine, who was on her assigned horse with the group told me that when Cappuchino (my assigned horse for the week) actually got lower to the ground when she turned... it was also the only time I've ever feared falling off of her. Usually, even though she's going faster than any other horse I've ever ridden, I know that I'm going to be able to stay on alright, but on Tuesday I was just thinking, "Ok, maybe I can't always stay on her..." but I did, so its all good. Cappuchino took off Wednesday when we jumped the course. Cappuchino took off Thursday when we went over courses. Today, when I was all alone, just me, her, and the instructor in the ring, and even though the jumps weren't really jumps... (the instructor put them down pretty low so Cappuchino would stay decently calm)I figured that she would take off, seeing as she only gets quick when she has to go by herself. So I walked her over the three jumps once, then tried trotting her over them, and she was actually too slow. It made everybody very happy with Cappuchino... and me. So that was good. Not as exciting for me (I have fun when she takes off), but I know that its good for the horse and it made the instructors happy, so its all good. Well, thats about it for now, I'll try to post when I get back from New York!
