Today was some crazy shit. At camp, Catherine fell of for the second day in a row, but it wasn't a big deal cuz when she was fell yesterday she landed on her feet and today she actually fell but Lucy's so short (the horse she rides) that she just got right back up. I got Cappuccino (the horse I ride) to jump a course with other horses in the ring. I was so happy- she's NEVER done that b4, although after the last jump she took off really fast. She was jumping around and crap too, but she has a smooth stride, so I wasn't afraid of falling at all, I was just afraid that i'd never get her to stop, but I eventually did.
After our jump lesson we played a game called greedy pony. Its where u hafta use a carrot to lure your horse through some cones, weaving in a nd out. Well that was fun and all, but when I was putting the pony I used back in his stall, he turned around and galloped out of the barn. It was so embarrassing. We had to chase him around for atleast 20 min... Oh well, apparently he does that all the time, so I didn't feel too bad.
Tomorow our instructor isn't gonna be there in the morning, so we're going on a trail ride. I can't ride Cappuccino on the trail, especially if we canter cuz thats when she freaks out and I don't feel like getting thrown on a trail, so I'm riding this horse Bandit. My regular teacher Don used to make me ride her all the time in jump lessons, but I haven't ridden her in SO long. She's a beginner horse, which means she completely predictable and isn't any sort of challenge. That'll be a nice break.
After camp, my friend Siri was at her grandparents' house which is right down the street from me, so I went over there for a while then she came over here. We sat in my driveway for a half hour with a candle burning things. It was awesome.
Well, i'm gonna go figure out how to cure myself of my horrible ear ache... I don't know why I have it... Whatever... Tylenol cures all!
