Well so much for my not being poor. Got paid 20$ for babysitting, then went to the mall with Ashley and bought semi permanent hair dye at Hot Topic in red and purple. I only got the red cuz all the hair stuff was buy 1 get 1 half off. So now the pieces of hair around my face are purple and it looks really good. I'm happy.
Camp was fun- again. For jump, I rode Chino, but had to walk her through the course cuz she got quick and it took a while to slow her down. Then I switched with a girl Diana, cuz I'm riding her horse, Cascade, for the show cuz Chino is nuts in shows. I did horrible jumping Cascade, but thats ok, I get to try again tomorow. Diana rode Chino through the course and really showed me up. Lol. She made that pony look so good, but thats cuz she's been rding this huge horse whos really quick so she knows EXACTLY how to slow a horse down w/o the reins which is what Chino needs. But then I showed her up in the flat class. Lol. My flat horse is sore, so I can't ride her and the one I'm riding in the show needs a break, so I can't practice with him til tomorow. So today I rode this pony, Duncan, who Diana had the 1st week, but he went lame (leg issues). He was better today so I rode him. After I got on, my teacher, Juliet, told me that the bridle I'd put on him wasn't his- it was a really heavy-bit (the metal part that goes in the horse's mouth) bridle- so I had to be really light with my hands. She decided not to change the bridle though cuz A) He was being really calm and normally he's too quick and spooks really easily, and B) That bridle was the one I found outside his stall. He was so perfect. He's so comfortable and just... yea. I know I'm speaking Chinese to some of you, but you can deal with it, right?
So, basic summary of my day- rode horses and did bad in jump but good in flat; babysat and got paid; went to the mall and blew that money on hair dye; now I have purple strands of hair around my face.
