   ONE MORE!!! XD
I FINISHED THE EVIL "GRAPES OF WRATH" BOOK LAST NIGHT!!! XD XD XD And now, all I have left is... "The Great Gatsby"! ... Which actually isn't so great considering it has a common storyline and also only contains 9 chapters... I could be done with my summer reading by the end of today... XD And with that in mind, I may not be on anymore after this time. Sowwy... But on the bright side, I'll have at least one day of "break" left. ^_^ Alrighty, I hope every single one of you has a wonderful summer day today!!! ^_^ (or winter if you're in the southern hemisphere... ^_^' )

Yup, updating again today! ^_^ Not much to say except that I'm making progress on my summer reading. But I'm not sure if that would be an interesting topic or not... ^_^' ...    NEW MP3!!! ^_^
Yeah, my intro is kinda getting to be like it used to, but my Onii-chan found this song, and I just HAD to put it up! ... ^_^' ... Anyways, the song is from one of my absolute favorite series: "To Heart ~ Remember My Memories". I haven't seen the original "To Heart", but I really want to, so if anyone finds anything, please let me know. Thankies! ^_^

So anyways... yeah, this series actually made me cry. There were a lot of emotions that the characters were experiencing that I could relate to. Just seeing those thoughts and feelings running through their minds and hearts made me remember the hard times in my life. But through those hard times, I had great supporters; my friends, my family, and pretty much everyone else. Just the thought of "How would everyone get along without me?" kept me going, and I am so happy to be here today. ^_^ I love you guys!!! Enjoy the song! ^_^

I still have a lot of summer reading left to do, so I'm trying to limit my time on here. sorry...    Stories of Band Camp (Part 2)
Okies, I didn't get many comments yesterday about band camp, so I'm not sure if people don't want to hear about band camp or just think there are too many stories to read. But anywho, I don't mind if you just pick out a random spot and read that. There's a lot that happened at band camp, so yeah... Just thought I'd let you guys know since so many of you were hyped about hearing about band camp and then I get so few comments about it. But anyways... PART 2!!! XD

TUESDAY:
My roomie and I oversleep (only a little), so we don't have enough time to do everything we need to (at least, I don't anyway... ^_^' ). So then Josh and I run down to breakfast, and I get this whole glob of scrambled eggs... ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! You have to put like a whole box-ful of salt to even taste anything on that thing!!! XP I think I had french toast or pancakes, too, but it's kinda hard to remember when you had 3 meals a day for 5 days straight in the same place... ^_^' ...
Okies, then we all walk the million-mile march down to the practice field, and lo and behold! a sprinkler!!! XD Too bad we didn't have enough time though... T_T ... So then we're standing there doing basics, and our director's getting ticked off at everyone because some people aren't even trying. Sometime in the middle of that, Josh and one of my friends (he has a site on here too: redlegsfan21) get pulled out to get fitted for uniforms. So I'm standing there in the blazing heat, wishing I'd get pulled out too, but they do senior first, in alphabetical order, and since I'm only a sophomore, I had a long wait until I get pulled out... T_T ... I started hating heat last week...
Anyways, so basics finally ends, and everyone runs to the coolers for water. I'm standing there, gulping down my water when I see a bunch of people running towards the sprinkler. So I ask Josh if he wants to go run through the sprinkler, and he's like, "If you want to", so I dash off down the hill to where the sprinkler is, still wearing my St. Louis Zoo hat that I got for my birthday last year, and like, as soon as I feel water, I slide... on my back... ^_^' And everyone's jumping around, trying to get cool, and the only sophomore percussionist (aka drummer) is standing right next to the thing. And there's this little thingy that sticks out of the sprinker, and it swings around a smacks the guy in the head!!! XD
Following that, we start setting pre-game... again. And it's amazing how hard it is for people to make STRAIGHT LINES!!! XP I mean really! You stand behind the person, you take the exact same step-size, and you turn when you have!!! NO PROBLEM!!!!!!! FREAKIN' FRESHMEN!!!!!!!!!!! XP XP XP
So we don't get anything accomplished except for squiggly lines and the establishment that freshmen can't count... T_T ... I could tell by this time that it was going to be a looooooooooooonggggg week...
For lunch that day, seniors had to eat with their freshmen. And I'm tired of saying "the kickline person" or "our director", so what I'll do is say their names. Okies, Josh's freshmen are my roomie (who is Rachel) and a kickline person (who is Whitney). ^_^
So Rachel is sitting here telling us stories about dance camp (she's into dance stuff), and Whitney's not saying anything. She barely says anything before telling us that she's leaving, and then leaves to sit with other kickline people. Before then, I thought Whitney was a nice person, but this is where I start having second thoughts...
In the afternoon, we have sectionals indoors (WOOT WOOT!!! XD ). My sectional person (Tiffany) was actually over clarinets (me), bass clarinets (Josh... YAY!!! XD ), and all our saxaphones (no one on here that I know of...). But, Tiffany separates clarinets from everyone else, and so Josh and everyone go down to the basement... T_T ... Anyways, she works with us a little while and then goes down to check up on everyone else. During the time she's gone, one of our drum majors who plays clarinet during concert season, Amanda, comes by and gives us a gummy and leaves the rest for Tiffany. So then, when Tiffany comes back, we have half of a song memorized, and she's so happy!!! Like this!!! XD XD XD I forgot who, but someone pointed out the gummies to Tiffany, and she gives us 2 gummies each for being good... I got 3 gummies... XD
So then at full band rehearsal (thankfully NOT down the hill in that horribly acoustic room), things are going okay. I end up memorizing the rest of the song and feel so proud of myself. ^_^
After full band, we had break. XD Josh, Dan (my other friend on here), my friend Brandyn, and I all head downstairs to the basement of our dorm and find this really nice room. It's used for storage and stuff, but it was perfect for a good game of... EGYPTIAN RAT SCREW!!! XD XD XD ... Too bad I kept losing all my cards... T_T ... Josh ended up giving me most of his cards, and we didn't even finish the game before dinner! *angry eyes* But luckily, Dan and I decided to finish the game the next day. ^_^
I honestly don't remember if anything interesting happened at dinner or not... sorry guys... ^_^'
ON TO THE PRACTICE FIELD AT THE END OF THE HILL OF DEATH!!! XP So we're STILL going over pre-game, and I'm really getting irritated since I want to get on with half-time shows. And we FINALLY get the half-time drills near the end of practice. So I'm standing there in my spot, waiting for our director (John) to tell us to set the next set. Turns out, too many people are messing around and we don't even get past the first set before we go in to get ready for the swim party. I am so ticked at this year's freshmen... XP
So before we go down to the pool, my friend loses her glasses in the bathroom. And on our way down, she's complaining (playfully) about how she's so blind and she can't see, so I end up leading her down to the pool (indoor and olympic-sized... XD ). It was funny. When she was walking back up the hill to someone (I forgot who), I was like, "Stephanie, watch out for that pole... Stephanie... Stephie... STEPHIE, WATCH OUT FOR THAT POLE!!!" Good thing she missed it... ^_^'
So in the locker room, one of my friends is asking everyone if they have a little something for a certain thing, and once she gets it, she asks someone to give her a "how-to" ... I don't think I should talk about that any longer... ^_^'
So in the pool, I'm swimming around (or at least attempting to) while a bunch of other people are scaring me by swimming too close to me or splashing the water. I don't like getting splashed... o.o' ... Josh ended up going off one of the smaller diving boards. I forgot what he did, but it was interesting. ^_^ And then the biggest guy in our band gets on the HIGH DIVE!!! That was the biggest splash I have ever seen in real life... XD Near the end, we end up playing with someone's beach ball. Then this one time, this freshman girl who plays the mellophone (aka: french horn during concert season) smacked the ball and then it hit Josh right on the face. He said it didn't hurt much, so it was funny. ^_^
So then, when we got back to the dorms, I only had 30 minutes to comb all the tangles out of my hair. Just as a little FYI, I'm about 5'2", and my hair reaches to the backs of my knees... uh-huh... It was such a hassle to get out the tangles... T_T
And that was how my day ended! ^_^
