NEGIMA UPDATE!!!
It is the first day of a new term. A 14-year-old girl steps out of the dorm bath in a fish suit (courtesy of the drama club). She begins doing a strange dance in the suit and chanting "Takahata-sensei" over and over again. During this dance, her friend, roommate, and classmate (all being the same person) walks in on her, asking her what she is doing. "Fish Suit Girl" replies that she's taking her friend's advice ("friend" referring to the one that just walked in) and doing the ritual stated in the horoscope, hoping that by performing it, she will end up in Takahata-sensei's homeroom. Her friend smiles and replies that she just made that horoscope up and also that she didn't think she would actually do it... ^_^'

This is the opening sequence for the new anime "Mahou Sensei Negima" by Ken Akamatsu (creator of "Love Hina"), which also runs under the titles "Negima!", "Magical Teacher Negima", and "Magister Negi Magi". This is the story of 10-year-old Negi Springfield, a young wizard-in-training who must fulfill one more task before he can become a real Magister Magi... teach an eighth grade class at an all-girls academy???
