Stuff.
You'll be happy to know I got off my butt and worked hard on my Rei plugsuit for the past two days. The base body suit is almost finished -- I just have to add the sleeves. After that, it's just a matter of making the armor accoutrements and the appropriate markings. I'll be sure to post a picture when the costume is finished (or near finished ^^)
Anyway, I brought the molasses cookies to my mom when I visited her yesterday -- she liked them. She was still pretty groggy, though, but it looks like she'll be able to come home today (Yay!!!). I also received a letter from my first choice college . . . I haven't opened it yet. Will I be accepted, or not? I guess I'll find out soon.
Question of the day: What was your very first anime? Technically, I guess mine was 'The Littl' Bits,' back when it was on Nickelodeon in the early 90s. That was way before I even got interested in anime (or knew what anime was), though.

Middle of the Week Outlook
Well, I think I'm feeling back to normal now. No longer am I in that sluggish daze, or so I think. I want to bake some molasses cookies later today for my mom -- she's in the hospital (She had to go in for surgery earlier this morning). I think the cookies will cheer her up. I am a little worried, though, even though I know she should be okay.
Anyway, after what seemed an endless sabbatical, I think I'm finally going to continue working on my Rei costume later today! Of course, notice the key word 'later'; speaking of procrastination, here's a banner that darkeangel made -- for none other than the Procrastinators Club:
It's so true.
Question of the day: what's your sign, baby ^^? I could just check your birthdates on your sites, but I'm too lazy. I'm an Aries, by the way; I don't really act like an Aries, though.

Lazy Sunday
I feel really odd today. There are some things I'd like to do today, but I just have no will at all to do them. I should be revising the final draft of my essay (which is due tomorrow), but of course, I'll probably save it all for tonight or early tomorrow -- such are the ways of a procrastinator. I'd also like to get some reading in, work on my costume, and do some drawing, but right now all I have the strength to do is watch Chobits. I hope watching some anime will rejuvinate my attention span and kick my butt into doing something constructive ^^.
Anyway, I hope you like my new site theme -- I decided it was time for a change. Have a good week.
Question of the day: what do you usually do on weekends?

Leaving Air Mattress City
Well, my sis and her husband left yesterday. While they were here, I slept on the air mattress in the computer room (hence today's title); it was quite comfy, actually. I miss them a lot -- the house is eerily quiet without them.
Anyway, I posted three new wallpapers today -- too bad the site portfolios still aren't working. Oh yeah, I went to the anime shop and rented a couple DVDs last night; I got Chobits and Wolf's Rain volume 2. I never thought I'd like Chobits, since I don't usually like cutesy-shoujo-ish stuff, but surprisingly I've been enjoying it so far. Well, not much else is going on, so I'll wrap it up for today.
Question of the day: Have any siblings? I have one older sister (Dana). She's a nurse, and she got married in September.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately -- my sis and brother-in-law are visiting, so most of my time is spoken for. Today we ate a late lunch at Panera and went shopping afterwards. After that, I had to go to Comp II. The teacher gave a pop-quiz, but I aced it, so I'm happy :).
I posted a new piece of fan art on Sunday -- it's the Elemental Bishoujo of Darkness and Decay. I'll probably only draw one more in the "Elements" series. I've been getting requests for more, though, so I'm undecided.
I'll try to stop by your sites soon -- right now I need to get some sleep, though. It's so much fun having my sis and brother-in-law around; I'm really going to miss them when they leave on Wednesday :(.

Extreme Randomness . . . Pics of My Dog ^^
Well, since one of the truths on yesterday's survey was that I have a poodle (her name is Fifi), I thought I'd post some pics of her.
This is Fifi back when we first got her. She was red as a puppy, but her color gradually faded over the years.
This is the old bitch now, lol. Shel'll be twelve in February.

The True Lie . . .
Congratulations to Artukei, who guessed correctly in yesterday's "Two Truths and a Lie" contest. The lie on yesterday's survey was the statement of having the super rare blood type AB-; I'm really O+, in case you're wondering ^_^.
For other news, My sis and her husband are coming to visit from Wisconsin. I'm looking forward to seeing them later today. Not much else has been going on here other than school, chores, homework, and more school, and yet, more homework. I applied for college, and I should receive their decision around February 1st; keep your fingers crossed. Well, I'll post again when something meaningful (or not) happens. Later y'all!

Hey everyone! Well, I'm out of my 'holiday daze' and back to drawing new pieces of fan art. I posted the latest installment in the "Elements" series (water) a few days ago, and I'm happy to have received your nice comments :). This is going to be a short post since I have to leave for my English Comp II class soon . . . I'm just a tiny bit nervous since I have a different instructor this semester. Anyway, have a good evening.

Pics should be working now.
Sorry about that. I didn't realize my bravenet account didn't pemit direct linking. Anyway, the convention pics should work now. If they don't, it's Photobucket's problem -_-. Thanks for letting me know they weren't showing up, by the way.
