In Wisconsin (Yes, another vacation)
I arrived at my dad's the day before yesterday. I'm having an okay time; we're leaving for our cabin in Door County later today, so I'll be offline for a few days. In case you're wondering, Door County makes up the peninsula of Wisconsin. It's a great summer spot, and has sort of a Cape Cod ambience.
Talk to ya later.

New Aisha Fan Art
I haven't drawn Aisha in a while, so I thought I'd pay homage to everyone's favorite Ctarl-Ctarl. It's a bit revealing, but there's really nothing indecent showing.

   I'm Back!
Hey everyone! I just got back home last night. That trip to the mountains was just what I needed. I have so many ideas for new fan art now ^_^.

Anyway, I had a fun time. In Boulder, we walked around the town and saw the historic district. I also got to roller blade, 'cause they have a huge bike path that crosses nine miles through the town; it was rather hilly and steep in parts, resulting in some wipe-outage, LOL. Then on our second day in Boulder, we saw the Celestial Seasonings tea factory and the Leaning Tree museum of Western art. The tea factory was so cool; especially the 'mint room', where they store all of their mint and spearmint; it really clears your sinuses.

After seeing Boulder, we spent about five days in a little town called Estes Park, which is nestled right in the Rocky Mountains. Stephen King was inspired to write 'The Shining' when he stayed there(at the old and supposedly haunted Stanley Hotel), how cool is that?
After puttering around the town, we went to Rocky Mountains National Park and did a lot of hiking; we saw a few waterfalls, a lot of elk and deer, and an abandoned mine. We also drove up one of the mountains to the Alpine tundra level, and did some hiking up there as well. The views were spectacular, and seeing glaciers and snow caps in the middle of summer was awesome.

   Leaving for vacation
I'm leaving for Colorado tomorrow. Since I won't have any access to a computer, I'll be offline until I return on the 16th.

We're going to stay in Denver for the first night, and then we're going to visit Boulder for a few days. To cap off the rest of the trip, we're going to the Rocky Mountains National Park. I'm so ready for the vacation to begin!

Have a great summer, everyone :).

   Seeing More Anime
Since an anime rental place just moved into the mall, I'm getting to expand my horizons. I just finished watching 'Revolutionary Girl Utena', and I must say, it's fantastic! If you like interesting, well-developed characters and mysterious, somewhat surreal story lines, Utena is for you. The movie (Adolescence of Utena) is a little different, and more mature, than the show; it was weird, but I still liked it.

The music also really amazed me; it's mostly classical, with some J-Pop here and there.

Anyway, now I'm starting on 'Love Hina.' I could only rent the first volume though, 'cause the second and third volumes were out. I can't wait to start watching it.

As for fan art, I've been slacking off lately. I probably won't post anything for the next month since I'll be going on vacation.
Well, it's time for me to go. I hope everyone is doing well.

Oh, what the heck.
Well, I finally decided to just go ahead and post the fan art I've been waiting to post.

Anyway, I'm really happy with this one. I think it's one of my best yet.

Fan Art Status
I've got one new fan art up; I just drew it today. The other one will take a little while before it's posted since the category it belongs to isn't up yet.

Anyway, I hope you guys like it. It's a glimpse of what life might have been like for Melfina had she never met Gene. Or, it could just be that Mel has completely snapped and gone insane. Take your pick, lol ^_^.
The next pic will be much more upbeat, I promise.
