Mood: Angsty
Okay, first thing's first, I love the song "Hotel California." If I had the skills and the time, I would so make the definitive Revolutionary Girl Utena AMV to that song. Seriously, if you've seen RGU, and if you listen closely to the lyrics of "Hotel California," the song matches up to the anime freakishly well (just the whole premise of the Ohtori Academy). It's almost scary -- I can't believe nobody's made an AMV like that yet.
Other AMV's I'd love to make:
Elton John's "Someday out of the Blue" + .hack//SIGN. Beautiful song -- I think it really could be used to illustrate Tsukasa and Subaru's friendship.
Green Day's "Jesus of Suburbia" + Outlaw Star. Each segment of the song would correlate to a different character (Jesus of Suburbia -- Gene; City of the Damned -- Melfina; etc, etc...).
The Barenaked Ladies' "For You" + Fruits Basket. This song defines Yuki.
So I e-mailed the seller who sold me my Juri Arisugawa wig yesterday, basically asking a polite variation of "Where the hell's my wig, yo?!" When I ordered it two weeks ago, I clearly and specifically stated I'd need the wig to arrive by August 1st, at the very latest since I'm going to wear it to a convention. Well, yesterday was August 1st. No wig. And to make things worse, the seller didn't give me a straight answer in his reply e-mail. I asked if the wig had shipped yet. His answer: "I've been a bit behind. I'll be shipping out a batch of wigs later this week." . . . Suck fest.
But anyway, since I've been talking so much about AMV's, here's the question of the week:
Q: If you had the time and the skill, what AMV would you make? (answers can be as detailed or undetailed as you wish)
