Chapter 1 and chapter 2(a story)
Chapter 1

There once was peace and calmness in this land of forgotten times. But as you walk through the forest you’ll see that the trees hold the stories of all the hardships this once thriving land was then. Scars are carved into the rough bark; the trunks lean over as if they were the elders themselves seeking rest.

No one cares to notice or to hear the aspens songs, as the wind passes through like a musicians fingers strumming that of his string instrument. Yes this land, no this planet cries softly. The dew in the morning are the tears from the night before, the river is the collected dew and raindrops.

I ask a nearby traveler if he remembers the elves, the dwarves, and the rocs. He laughs hysterically in response and shakes his head in disgust. My heart aches and I fall to the ground. The pain is intolerable; I’ve dealt with it for as long as I can remember. You may only see me as a wretched old hermit in the woods. But let me tell you this I am a Keeper. One who holds and maintains the past events. Hope is what keeps me alive. It is what kept me alive for 300 years.

Why so surprised. Is the number so terrifying? Heh, well to me it’s not that old. I’ve seen five wars, six million useless battles and one to many petty arguments. Yeah… to many battles….to many wars . . . . . . . to. . . .Many souls lost to the riper.

Stupid mortals. All they do is argue over a grain of sand, a pebble. Can’t they see that there are so many things in this world not yet discovered? Can they see that once they pass on, they too will become that grain of sand that they fought cold heartedly over? Why “preach” now? Only the trees, grass, and creatures of this dank forest will listen to me. Only the forest will . . . listen to me.

So I begin my journey yet again. I pick up my wooden staff. I stretch my timid body and give a yawn. I hear the twiiters of the birds in the oaks and pines. " You laugh at me. WEll you'll see one day that you will too stretch those wings and yawn." I poni my staff inthe direction of the bird and shake it slightly.

The bird flutters and ignores my words. I give a chuckle and take my steps in this world. No one remebers.
Chapter 2
The day ventures on and the people and creatures of this world carry on their chores and errands. TIme is endless, don't they realize that? I pause in front of the town and take a moment to read the town sign.

"welcome to Endless.
Population: 500
founed:?"

I smile, yes timeless.

I walk in to Endless. I look at all the taverns and stores. I rummage through my knappack at my side and look for that confounded list. I sigh gruffly and stop to search throughly for it. "Where are you? You hassle piece of parchment."

"AH!" I take it tou and look at it. The letters blur but for a moment. I rub my eyes and they focus.
bread
cheese
milk
water
maple leaves
parchmeant
quill
ink...

I stuff back into my knapsnack and go into the nearest store.
" I would like these." I bring out the list an place it on the counter. The store keeper takes a glnace and nods,"Anything else?"

"No."

He turs around and goes behind a flap. I wait in the store onad look at the walls. Paintings of the world are seen. One painting I see causes me to walk closer and examine the figure in it. I regonize him and the girl behind him.

The wheel turns...

"Here you go gramps. Will that be in coins or trade?"

"A trade."

I rummage thorugh my pack and tkae hold of a orb wrapped in ocean blue silk."A sea dragons most prized item." I hand it over

"What ever you say, gramps." HE takes it and goes into the back.

I exit the store and place all the tiems into my sack. The list burns and flys off with wind.

"now to look for the those that still have power."
