Search for the Shikon Jewel
Like every great story there is a item that everyone even the bad guy is looking for.
In Inuyasha it happens to be the Shikon Jewel. Even though Naraku is looking for this jewel he doesnt go after it himself.
No, he save himself for Inuyasha and lets one of two types go after the jewel shards.
Either his detactments or other enemys of Inuyasha's or his fathers. who are powered up the shards Naraku already has.
