Captain's log #2
I have seen what most have unseen in the belly of the cave, past the spring where most do not dare to venture past. I saw small furry creatures with wings like a demons and insects of all sorts, they were scurrying and flying about as if the light from my torch scared them. The cave was huge, the large hole was big enough for a giant to live in, and just as dark and difficult to walk in. I had slipped and scrapped my knee along my little adventure but it was all worth while, because I found a door at the very end of the cave though I could not open it. I saw writings on the cave walls near the door, they seemed as if they were drawn by a child and in a pattern. It seemed to go from the left to the right the first of the pictures was what looked like a small man next to a door. The second was the same man with a sharpened stick next to another little man with a sharpened stick but the second little man had a red mark on his face. The third picture was the same stick figure but with a larger identical one that was holding it’s hand while it was laying horizontally. The fourth picture was of the same figure only it was holding a key, and the last one had the figure with a crown next to a pink figure with a some kind of staff. They seemed like something my sister would draw, if she would have had any thing to right with. After seen the inside of the cave and returning to what I called my “temporary home” I went to sleep and woke up to you, and so here I am writing in you. If only there were some kids my age to play with unfortunately they are all working to earn money for their families, fortunately for me my mother and father earn enough money to at least put the sufficient amount of food on the table for us. As for me I Captain Jesus Garza the 4th am signing off my log for now.
