Captain's log #3
Dear friend
I'm sorry I haven't been writing in you lately, but i've had trouble in doing so ever since mother became sick and I was burdened with the task of working.
I have the worst of news,today I heard that i'm being shipped to the outside saftey of the cavern to train to become a soldier like my father. Although I am being stationed at another location than my father I hope I will be able to see him, since I haven't seen him in at least five months already. I'm going to hide you in a little box under a board under my bed, since the officers don't allow any possessions from home. The only item they're allowed to have is a necklace that would remind you of your family, or so it says in the letter. I guess thats why the enemy calls our army the necklace brigade, they're the musicians in arms (because they always play songs when they are at rest or so my dad says in the letters he sends me). well it's been fun writting in you again old freind hope to do it again some time, Captain logging out.
